We Sail In 8 Days!


Woo Hoo!

6 months ago I said "we sail in 6 months...that's more than enough time to lose this 10 pounds"

then it was "we sail in 3 months...that's do-able"

then ..."oohh...2 months...well, that's getting tricky"

then 2 weeks...."mary kate and ashley diet, here I come"

now 8 days...."hmmm, what's that liposuction doc's name?"

The boy knows how to "stir the pot", that's for sure!!

I didn't mean to. I just want to drink wine, sleep late, eat and dive. It's a simple life that I am looking forward to.

I have learned my lesson, never post on the main board.

It was a serious question. I get tired of carrying this huge wine glass and am looking at options.

I know I am among friends!

PS: for christmas presents I got my neighbors wine glasses that hold a whole bottle of wine, each. Maybe I should bring that on the cruise.

You don't need them anyway, Mr. Scuba!! You have us and that's all that matters!

If you want to, I don't care if you get one of those ball caps with the flask in it and the attached straw that hangs down!! Heck, we've got a Camelback fanny pack. Want to borrow that? I don't care I don't care I don't care!!! Just COME AND HAVE FUN!!

And if someone doesn't like it....let it ruin THEIR vacation!!!!

Yes, OH/MI game. I am still thinking about if I will allow my daughter to talk to KT after Ohio kicked MI butt. But since OH came to my rescue on the main board today I'll allow it.

You will b/c it will make your dd happy! She posted a note to KT today and seemed very excited! I told KT about it and she was bouncing around the room in anticipation!!! So I gave her a Benadryl and an amaretto sour and sent her to bed! (kidding!!!)

My exact thoughts. Although I have really been trying, especially this past month, but I'm afraid its only going to 7 or 8 and not the 10. Which still leaves me with 10-12 more I really need to lose.
OH well, bring on the dessert buffet!

14 months ago I started my diet. 12 months ago I was down 20+ pounds.

8 days to go and I've gained it all back (and maybe a little more). So when I should be at goal by now I'm still the same old (and overweight) me. My goal is to enjoy the cruise and start the diet after the first of the year. Maybe I can get to goal for the DVC cruise. If I can't I hope you'll still accept me for who I am!

Also DH (DrHug) said to let you all know that he is bringing only 6 bottles of wine. Only because we have to fly there though and the airlines is being stinky about number of carryons. We may pick up a couple more in Florida, but will have 3 bottles that we made and 3 Oregon wines with us.
