Sick of you - no way! Where would we be without you! After all you started this whole thing!

What kind of stuff do you sell??? We are trying to be scrapbookers --- DD14, DD12 and myself --- it's a little hard to find the time but we're working at it.

Creative Memories. They have everything. I love their albums. They have a bunch of great Disney stuff and a new kids line. I'll bring some catalogs with me too. They have a great Disney album with Mickey Mouse on the cover. It is red with the black Mickey.

One thing they really encourage is journalling. Not just putting pictures in a book. I am not in to taking hours for a page, I put in pictures and then I write a little thing about what was happening at the time.

I'll bring you some stuff to help you get started.

Linda - I'd love it if you have some to share! I love doing scrapbooks of our trips and the little extras always make it worth while. Which company do you sell for? It would be great to have another resource even though I have two great scrapbooking stores nearby. Thanks!

Mary-I'll bring you a bunch of freebie stuff too! (See my post above)

Therese, I just finished reading a medical thriller that was set in Boston. The main character had a debate in Fanuiel Hall. Book title is "The Society". Pretty good, but heavy anti-HMO.

sounds like I should pick it up - I am on the lookout for a new book

Thankyou!

Just checked the 10 day forcast for our area and the weather looks clear and in the 30's - good flying weather.

Checked the 10 day forecast for the cape and the weather looks clear and in the 70's so it may be cool on deck but hopefully not too cold. After coming for 30's the 70's will feel great!

Ok, must do some more school. I have it figured out so that we can get to the end of units before we leave....The kids won't like it much though...
KT would have to do 5 math, 7 literature, 5 spelling, 5 vocabulary and 10 GUM (grammar, usage, and mechanics)

Nick would have to do 3 math, 4 language arts, and 7 history.

Keeping in mind that we probably won't have time for ANY school next Wednesday, that means we need to hustle our butts to get some more done.

Of course, now that we've had "Christmas" the kids want to play all day!!

Where is that shock collar??? :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

I use to live near there too. I lived at One Devonshire Place just next to Old State House if I recall correctly. I loved living and working there, had a great time.

Jeri,

That is a nice building! I used to use the Sky Club there.

Small world! I live in the North End - do you remember the Italian section of Boston?

That is SOOOO sweet. DD (10) is the one who wants to start this. She always looks longingly at the cute little sticker sets (the ones that come in those transparent little bags) I haven't a clue where to start. I was going to take Mary's advice and sign her up for a class at Archiver's once the cruise is over.

You are SOOOOOO generous!!! Thanks!!

Karen-I'll bring you guys some stuff too. Maybe DD will want to get together with my DD Jamie 12 and they could do a little together on the ship on a sea day?

Oh, please please, bring me a catalog too!!
KT is going to love this. If she starts this and loves it, I know I'll be able to find her all kinds of great things for her birthday.

We can use Scrapbooking for school....Art and Composition (the journalling part!)

Linda - excellent. I have some Creative Memories stuff, but the person i was buying from went out of business. Would love to have a new source!

Would you guys like to see some of my pages? If so I'll see if Mark can scan them and I'll put them up on the web site.

Too cute ! :D I think that is one of the things we will keep away from bear. Hopefully he won't see that post and try it at home. :D

REMEMBER, STACEY SAID NO MORE BROKEN BONES BEFORE THE CRUISE!!!!

YES!! YES!!!

But only if he has time. Maybe I can throw in one of my scrapbook albums and bring along. We could have a mini-scrapbook meet during a sea day on the cruise.

Oh, oh....................I can hear DH saying "don't get her started".

Let's see if we can help them.

Math - count the number of tops. Take into account solo tops and those shared. Make up a top ten list.

Literature - read the entire Passporters Guide to the Disney Magic and do a book report on it.

Spelling - read all the posts from a given day and find all the spelling errors (that should take hours).

Vocabulary, GUM and Language Arts - same as above - read the posts and correct them. Should be great fun with the **** Virgil put in.

History - read this thread from the begging and make a time line of when everyone started posting.

Now I'm really just a beginner so don't expect too much. I'd love to bring my album from 2003 but there is no way it will fit.

Woo Hoo - shared top with Linda! BTW - I'd love to get together some day on a sea day and talk scrapbooking. That would be fun.

KT is VERY, VERY interested!!!! (she made me add the extra very, make it big, and color it!)

Does anyone else thing we really need more than 10 days and some of those need to be sea days to do all we want to do together and still see the sights.

Ok - last post for a while - lunch is over so its back to work.
