There is a time and place for everything. Had pizza at Costco's yesterday in the car driving to MGM.

DS & DD ate the whole thing, they gave DW and I just a small piece.

Thank you, that makes me feel better. I need the time to focus on a presentation in the morning to DD Kindergarden class on Danish Christmas customs. Otherwise it would be totally gourmet...

I'm on page 1287 only so I have some reading to do but I just thought I'd share what happened this weekend. It was our Christmas weekend with my family coming to spend the weekend at our place. We had a sleigh ride and did the turkey, etc... All was well, except then DD got sick. Every half hour for twelve hours... (of course, this was overnight) ... She seemed fairly dehydrated by morning, so I took her to emergency and sure enough they put her on an IV. We just got home and she's sleeping but feeling alot better. Just a bit weak...

While at the hospital, my DH called to say that our friends from last year's cruise (and that we were planning to cruise with this Christmas) called and told us that her husband passed away suddenly last week. I can't believe it and am still in shock! We talk to them every Saturday but missed last Saturday because we were out of town ... I haven't told DD yet because I know she's going to be devastated and thought she should get a bit stronger first so that she can call her friend (their DD is really good friends with my DD - they were inseparable last year and were so looking forward to spending this cruise together)... I feel so sad for them and helpless...

Well, I'll try to catch up on the posts while DD is still snoozing...

Stacey - in that picture he's closer to you than he is Virgil or GaRry.

BTW - I know if/when we go to Vegas you'll come and show Bear around (and maybe even Mark and I).

Trying to think what else I need to do, other than pack the guys' stuff. I think that's pretty much it.

Question:
I have a suitcase FULL of the Christmas decorations. I don't really need to bring them back home. Do you think I will regret throwing them away on the ship? I'd like to use that suitcase as the one to bring home souvenirs, etc.

I do see palm trees down there. It's not the old skyway at Disneyland. They were different colors. Boy...ya got me.

I could show Bear (or his Mom and Dad) a really good time in Vegas.

Annie, that is some pretty scary stuff. Glad you got your DD to help and got fluids in her. I am so sorry for your friend. I will include you all in my prayers.

Annie, so so sorry to hear about your friend. It's always such a shock when it is so unexpected. So very sorry. Very wise to wait until DD feels stronger. Pixie dust and prayers to all of you!

WELL then just leave them on the bed that way the keep them or they throw them away. they could aways trade them for something on one of the islands. even a shirt or 2

I would not have believed that even combining family posts, I still have more......I guess I do yap a lot. But if Diana says it's true, then it must be true. Won't you be surprised to find out how quiet I truly am in public!
