Well, maybe in my wildest dreams, but certainly not in my regular dreams!!!!

Does DCL/UPS require a signature for the docs? When Fedex handled the deliveries I always had to sign. RCCL and Carnival sent the docs regular mail. Go figure.
ICK!! I'd pay extra to have them send them by a more reliable method than that. As it is our neighbor on one side keeps bringing us pieces of our mail that the clueless wonder misdelivers. I'd like to report him, but Mary thinks he'll be purposely worse if I do. :/

I hear ya. I'm always getting mail that belongs to someone else. And not necessarily people right around me either. I always try to return it to them but yet no one ever returns mail to me. Makes me wonder what I'm missing!

I have a story to tell, Jay just got home from work...7 p.m.:

Here's a story
of a lovely package...
That's been riding in a brown truck for three days......

UPS man says it ain't his route

If he really cared, I seriously doubt.

Tired he finally got of looking at it...
Knew he must deliver, or he'd be in deep sh*#

So to our shop he brought this lovely package
And darling husband brought it home to me

So now, we all will be a family.....
A great big crazy cruising bunch!!

I doesn't usually work to report them. We've been through that with ours. DH's Sports Illustrated would mysteriously not show up whenever Tiger Woods was on the cover (and only then). We were having construction on our street (it's strictly residential in an old neighborhood where the houses are close together) and we didn't get mail for 4 day (we KNEW we wouldn't go that long without mail), so we called the Post Master and he PERSONALLY hand delivered our mail that night. We still have the same mailman 2 years later. Sometimes he'll deliver stuff to the door if we aren't home, other times we get the slips of paper saying we have mail waiting at the post office if we get something too big for the box (if we're home, he'll deliver it to the door). We got one of the slips a few weeks ago and when DH went to pick it up it had a note "carrier - leave if no response" on it. DH asked the guy at the post office if it should have been left and he said yes (it pained him to say it though). We used to always have problems with our mail, but it hasn't quite so bad lately.

I could go on about UPS and FedEX too. Sometimes they leave the package on the front steps, sometimes in front of the door to our shed (at the end of the driveway), sometimes in the bulkhead to the basement, and sometimes on the back deck. Monday I came home to a "package was left in the shed" sticker stuck to the sliding glass door on the back of our house. Tonight I accidently stumbled on a box on the back deck in front of the sliding glass door while looking out waiting for dinner to finish.

Yippee!!!!!! I'll sleep a little better tonight, knowing that Boyd and I won't have to share our room on the cruise .... of course I'm teasing.

ohiomickey and I are thinking we're out too. Like others, we can't justify the cost. It'd be about $16K for us as we'd be crusing with my parents and we never make them pay for Disney trips.
The excitement of speculating the route and dates was so overwhelming that now, the reality just stinks!
We'll make the final call here soon, but we're leaning heavily towards cancelling. :(

Wow. Glad I didn't!! I'd be missing out on a LOT of fun!!
KT and Nick GASPED when I read this to them....like "OH THE HORROR" :earseek:

KT says: :jumping1: :jumping1:

Nick wants to say HI too:

:boat: :fish: :Pinkbounc :jumping3: :bounce: :jumping2: :cat: :jumping4:

btw, Mary and Mark...Nick wanted me to have the little cruise ship in my signature. He really thinks it's cute. Hope you don't mind me borrowing it! :)

Congrats on doc arrival Stacey!

And to add to your fun for the day, I have converted the thank you notes posted earlier to the format for the precut Avery Business cards. I recommend the #8371 Inkjet Buisness cards. All you'll have to do is edit the names on the cards and print. Then bend and they separate very neatly. I use them all the time. :)

http://monorailgreen.info/Xmas2004Cruise/cards.exe The file size is almost 1 megabyte, will take a bit for dialup users to download.

Opening this should create two files on your desktop. One is Christmas ones the other is Cruise ones, use one or both, Enjoy.

You'll need Word, and if you don't have it, this font as well.

http://monorailgreen.info/DisneyFonts.exe

REMEMBER to edit the names unless you want Mark & Mary cards.

My apologies for that really stupid poem that "Lisa" wrote!!

SUE.....tomorrow...for sure.

If that UPS guy (not my usual guy) hadn't gotten tired of looking at them, I still wouldn't have them.
He told Jay that the package was put on his truck 3 days ago. We aren't on his route, so he kept taking it back to the station, and they kept putting it back on his truck. He got tired of it, so before he went home for the night, he brought them. Got to the shop at 6:45.
Good thing Jay worked late!

Thank you very, very much. I appreciate the heads up on how long it will take.
