We run in so many directions - and do most if not all of the planning - Little Vacation Fairies don't do all of this while we are sleeping.............

Sorry to all of the DHs that are out there on these boards!

Well, I will have to defend my husband (Scuba Diver). He does a lot of planing for our vacations - in fact other than the Disney Cruise, he does most of it. We have had some excellent vacations. So, lets think, Great Cook, Vacation Planner, Driver to Gym Meets, All Around Good Guy - Yes, I'm Blessed!!!!!!

Another great set up for a TOP. I need a crown or something...."Queen of the TOP set ups."

After I posted, I counted, but scuba.mom was already there and the TOP. She'll deny she was trying for the TOP, I'm sure!

Yeah, that's the grown up version. The kid version is purple and yellow and has toy mice as the pawns.
Spoke with someone from Canada who finally was able to tell me the game has been delayed by the manufacturer until January. But at least that explains why I can't find it and I can stop hunting.

My parents wanted to get it for him. I think that's what they'll do. In fact, they'll probably get it for him for his birthday (Jan 5th) so maybe by then it'll even be out.

The mfg made a huge error in not getting this out in time for Christmas, IMHO.

If I get to the port and see a tent set up with a family of 4 camped out there, I'll know the scuba family spent the night at the port!!

We may be able to pack everything into 2 duffles and 1 garment bag. I told DM not to worry cause I will get a porter to take the luggage to the Hyatt. In '02 I looped the duffle shoulder handle onto other duffle and hooked that to the wc. I had a little train going on. I hit a problem at the elevator to the Hyatt. Kinda like the fox, chicken and flour crossing the river.

Thanks Linda. As it turned out I had to choose between the costume shop or grocery store. While I can stand to skip a meal, my DH and DD are on the light side so it was off to pick up chicken. Yet another reason to be excited about the coming venture....a cooking vacation

I give...what is hunter sauce?

Hunter Sauce is a brown sauce. It is made with a stock, tomato sauce, mushrooms and other fine things....or you can get the Knors packet from the grocery store and just make it up real easy. I have learned better to make a sauce quick with a packet and have it than to spend hours making it from scratch and never having it.

Don't tell her, but it was left over sauce I found in the refrig.

OM - Thanks for giving DW the idea about camping out at the port. That might be the only time we ever see her camp.

She considers back packing having to carry her own luggage from the parking lot to the hotel room.

She considers roughing it the Holiday Inn.

She considers camping at Port Canaveral a great idea.

Nope, we're staying with our tropical wear too. We don't want to go to another piece of luggage and we would if we brought our outfits.
