I think Leslie will be the last post pre-cruise from a home computer. You know the scubas will leave before her, so Leslie, you can get it and say "Bottom" and really mean it!!!!

Does this mean we're having a little friendly competition as to who is the last poster on the thread prior to boarding???

Virgils WiFi might win that contest..

That would be the prototype for the GPS collars, right?

Now you're onto something. Make the teens wear the collar and then use the invisible fence wire to rope off certain areas you don't want them to go to!!

Virgil, only problem with that right click open in a new window post is that I ended up with about 15 internet explorer windows open at one time!! I would submit my reply and while it was working I'd go back to the thread and keep reading...open in a new window, reply, back to the thread...over and over!

Thanks Virgil, but I really don't think there is a cure for this for seven more days................I've got the

DISNEY MAGIC FEVER!!!!! :cool1:

]I am ONE SICK INDIVIDUAL. I can't sleep, I toss and turn dreaming about the Magic all night when I can get to sleep, I dream about the boards, I had to turn on my computer at 5 a.m. so I could see the Magic in port just to give me a "fix" until next Saturday.

I definitely need to see a shrink after this cruise!

I'm pretty sure that I can find somebody to give us a group discount....

Oh, Jim/Kevin. Snorkling question. I can't find DS's snorkling mask. DH thinks we threw it out in one of the garage cleanups. Do you think I can find a cheap set in an Orlando WalMart, or should we plan a stop at Ron Jons? Remember Kevin, you offered up working with the snorkling challenged kids during the at-sea days? I did find DH's mask (his is prescription). Would that work just to teach him how to do it, or does he need a kids sized one?

Hey Lisa, I hadn't forgotten. Looking forward to it.

Remember being comfortable snorkeling depends on the the mask fitting properly. WalMart would probably have masks, but I wouldn't waste even $10 on one. Ron Jons sounds like a better choice. I've got several extra masks, one extra will be brought for emergency anyway.

Fitting tips:
Set the mask on his face and have him inhale slightly through the nose to seal while tipping the face upwards a bit. Look around the silicone skirt of the mask where is connects to the face for potential holes or leaking spots. Especially at the cheek bone area. All masks don't fit all faces!!

The better masks have nicer silicone skirts. More flexible for better fit.

After you buy a new mask, it has to be cleaned to get the manufacture fuzz off the lenses. Use some plain old white (not gel) toothpaste and rub the inside of the mask lens thoroughly to remove residue. Clean twice, and you should be good to go.

I normally allow Kevin to post replys to the scuba and snorkling questions so they are all consistent, but he is still in bed.

A mask does not have to be expensive, but it needs to fit. That is the most important point. The easiest way to check the fit is to simply hold it up to the face, without the strap on it, and slightly breath in through the nose. The mask should form a seal and hold onto the face for a short time.

We have used the Walmart with the kids and they seem to work okay, but I also know that the worst experience is to be out in the water and have someone complaining that their mask is leaking. It's really spoils a great time. Takes all the fun out of it.

You may want to try Ron Jon first and see what they have and if they are responibly priced. If not, go to the Walmart in Coca.

Man! That would good! Talk about consistent, must be that excellent training we both had.

Okay, caught up on reading all the posts and am sitting here in bed, with laptop laughing over and over again. Good thing DH was up and gone already this morning or I'd never hear the end of it.

I bet he will be glad when we are on the cruise and I am not on my laptop.............Can you say "WIRELESS".

Stacey and I will be in the hot tubs with our laptops, on the boards, just so we don't fall off the first page!

Linda

And now, it is 7:30 a.m. MST and I am going to go get my Utah coffee (that would be a Diet Coke) to get my day started and finishing sewing those pirate costumes. We are going to be the best pirate family on board...........all 13 of us!!!

AND PROBABLY MY LAST TOP ON A SATURDAY BEFORE WE CRUISE!!!!

Kind of my thought. You know, the lastest in "punk fashion"!!

Of course, most of them wouldn't like that style... :guilty:

One last thought on the whole "wine issue". Something Jim failed to mention in this whole discussion is that many of the wines he is bringing on the cruise were purchased at EPCOT during the food & wine festival. Don't worry, Disney is not being short changed. We are VERY avid supporters of the mouse!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Okay Linda, you got me too. I had to come back and edit this post after I had finished reading all the posts. You crazy thing!

REALLY?? The kids are always complaining their goggles get "foggy" and they are spitting in them all the time. I've windexed them and it works temporarily, but it gets bad again.

Does this same toothpaste thing work for goggles?

Thank goodness for small miracles, DS was scheduled to play 3 roller hockey games today, but those games just got cancelled due to wet weather! I am so glad it rained! We still have about 1000 games next week due to playoffs but at least we have our precious Saturday!

Now we actually have time to pack and finish up the christmas gift organization instead of doing it at 3am in the morning the day before we leave!
