I think the computers are wired, it's just the ship that's not. Gotta be a satellite link with a gyro setup or some other high tech thing. Must be run by Linux......

Mary I was also thinking that maybe my computer could pick it up anyway ( I have a mac and you know we mac people are SO special). But they probably have it password protected or something like that. I read that they have it wired to do sales transactions and to allow those card readers to work and they don't want to make that system less efficient by allowing us mere chatters to use band width.

I did get that TOP back there, didn't I? Thanks for noticing! And not only was I not trying, I was actually trying not to!

You can be there Linda.......I plan on being at check in around noon hour or at least pull up with the rental car at Noon.
That is when they receive their postcards from Mickey and Minnie inviting them on the Magic.
I was thinking maybe someone of authority can give them the postcards, when we pull up. ( Disney Security or Police Officer or Porter)

Okay.. what's this I read about some of you already having Palo ressies? HOW HOW HOW???? I am so far behind!
Has anyone found out how much the package will be for internet use or unlimited Rainforest Room? I am SO in need of getting some things done.
I probably missed a discussion about this.. but is anyone planning little gifts for your servers etc for Xmas? Any suggestions?
Some of you already have docs?? Any DVC cruisers get anything yet? Any previous DVC cruisers ever get an upgrade? When do you find out if you've gotten an upgrade? So many questions so little time.

This message board has gotten us SO excited about the cruise! After dinner tonight DH and me took out our file and reviewed our excursions. We essentially signed up for every snorkelling trip our children were old enough for (ie we chose 5 and up and not the 10 and up) We also have no idea how to sign up for Palo's early. Is there a mad rush for reservations at Palo's on the longer cruises or is that unique to the three day? Also, when we went last time (3 day 1999) there were not excursions and Castaway Cay. We didn't sign up for any this time.

When I first signed up for this message board I foolishly checked the box to be notified by email when someone responds to my posting. I soon realized that my inbox was filling up quickly so I went into my User Control Panel and I turned that off BUT it didn't stop. Is there something else I should do?

I usually take a book or two. I like reading out on the verandah. I'm not one for laying in the sun for too long and reading a good book on the verandah is a nice way for me to relax.


Hey - I got a top without even trying!

If we had a verandah I'd sit on it and read I'm trying to save the new Nora Roberts book for the cruise. The spirit is weak...it calls to me. I too like to put it on my belly and relax.

Just thinking about sitting on deck with my sun-loving DH and my book makes me excited!
