Everything went downhill on Sunday! DM has been sick and she fell yesterday in the bathroom. She didn't break anything but it scared her. My house looks like a cruise ship with the bars I have on all the walls. Even in her bathroom I have grab bars on every wall. Then, I am taking a nap (stress related I am sure) one of the dogs gets sick all over the bed. yuk. We are supposed to leave for HH on Wednesday and I will have to cancel. I don't think DM is strong enough for the trip right now. I have to get her better for the cruise.

anyway, I am glad to help Mary and Mary Ann by taking over early seating, it will give me something to do to get over no HH this fall.

Virgil,

Thank you!

I am watching these pins - DA is sometimes quirky - I was bidding on the halloween stitch pins - due to some type of ebay error they ended early - so I won - it was a great deal $133. for the set of 8!

then I got an email from ebay that no one won because of the glitch............... but what are you going to do.

Love to hear back about pins from everyone!!

Boy, spend the day flying from west to east and wake up this morning and have to read 200+ posts!!!

Good thing though, I am in Orlando with the DH and I actually don't have to read all the morning posts since it is only 7:30 a.m.

Today Show just said The Incredibles just came in under Shrek for the largest weekend opening for an animated movie! Can't wait to see it again. Bought a couple of the LE Incredible pins at Downtown Disney last night.

Okay, headed over to Animal Kingdom for the 9 a.m. opening, and headed to Epcot later today! Hopefully can snag Ohiominnie her ornament that she needs.

I'll check in tonight, and I'll probably have another 200+ posts to read!

Have a great Monday everyone!

Linda

\ I have a line of kidz clothes and hats - Sweet Pea Kidz. Long 12 hour days................ hey have to pay for this trip.

He sounds like a pin force to be reckoned with! :) This cruise is going to be so much fun!

Tell me more about your kids clothes. How big do they go? I'm always looking for the "non-floosy" clothes for dd....seems like those are getting harder and harder to find at mainstream stores. Also since my niece is pregnant I get to shop for BABY CLOTHES again!!!! I love that!!!! :) Do you have a website?

Good Monday Morning All!!

Busy, busy, busy, last night weren't we.:p I had 12 pages to read this morning.:earseek:

Sue - sorry to hear about your mother, but glad she didn't break anything. I sure hope she feels better soon.

Linda - have at great time at WDW, sure wish I was there.

Off to read the boards and then have to get DD's ready for school.

Everyone have a great day.

Sorry I am just replying to this - I am catching up on all these posts. We had a craftshow all weekend here in Boston.

By the way, I hear you on long craft show days. My dad used to do them (he makes wood things--ask Virgil, our playroom is FILLED with lots of solid oak, classic play toys) He has made our bed in our room, our guest room bed, and a dresser, among other odds and ends.

Anyway, I've done his craft shows with him. He makes a cool cross stitch frame and I would get to sit and stitch ALLLLL day while my mom watched the kids! :) It was sooooo difficult! Then afterwards he'd take me out to a good dinner b/c I helped him sell his frames (usually he'd sell 1 or 2 without me there---with me it was more like 10-15!) But they were VERY long days.

No craft shows anymore since he ran over his leg/knee with a lawnmower!!

I miss it in some respects b/c it was a great time with my dad. We'd sit and kibbitz when there weren't customers. And it gave the kids an outlet to sell their Magic reindeer food---they'd make it, sell it, then donate every dime to a charity. I've got good memories of them sitting there hawking their goods, looking cute, and convincing everyone to buy Magic reindeer food (even 90 yr old ladies!!) :)

We are definitely going to have to have a Girls' Night Out! Even I am a little frightened at the thought of all of us taking over one of the clubs!! Whoo hoo!!!

We listened to an oldies station on the radio coming home. Wish I could have gotten up and practiced some of my old disco moves!

Stacey I will take care of you not being on the list. Got the email and back at you!!

Girls night out - looks like we age getting quite a few participants. I think we could call ourselves the DIS Dames, or the DIS Darlings
Any other suggestions? and guys no smart *** answers!

Happens to me every morning, Stacey! And we don't have a single hill in our yard. I take Maggie out. She prefers to do her business in the FARTHEST corner of the yard.....then it hits her!! THE PAPER!!! THE NEWSPAPER HAS BEEN DELIVERED!!! And she takes off at breakneck speeds, me running behind her as fast as I can to avoid being dragged along the ground. She gets to the end of the driveway and snags her prize!! Then darts as quickly as possible to the BACK door (of course!) but not without changing directions suddenly and abruptly several times to avoid the things that spook her (i.e. those big, scary green garbage cans)

By the time we get back I'm huffing and puffing and ready to go back to bed!

man can I relate!

Good morning from England!!!
Have been desparately trying to catch up with all the posts, so please forgive me if I ask something that has already been answered!!!
Do we know when the formal nights are yet? And has Disney announced any special holiday happenings yet?!
Would love to hear about the types of dresses/suits women are planning for formal night as plan to go shopping for mine next week..............was going to wait until I was thinner............but I'm afraid that particular miracle dosen't seem to be happening!!!!!!
Thanks!
Debsxxxxxx

Debs, good to hear from you.

For formal night, I'm wearing a long dress. It has a green velvet halter type top (covers up a fair amount though:) ) with a tafetta bottom.

Semi Formal and Palo (haven't decided which is going to be which yet). I have fancy black palazzo pants (I think that's what they're called, really wide legs, almost like a slim skirt), and two fancy tops. One is a pink beaded top, the other is a bronze silk wrap top. The pink top is sleeveless, the bronze top is long sleeved. Having never dined at Palo, how is the temperature up there? If it's particularly chilly, or particularly warm, maybe that's how I'll choose which one is where?

What do the kids wear? Last year on P&O mine wore smart trousers and a shirt whenever they came to the dining room with us (which wasn't often) whatever night it was. What are the rules for kids on the Magic. I don't really like mine wearing shorts for dinner or jeans so it is easier if they just take a couple of nice pairs of trousers specially for dinner. Do kids wear smart shorts for dinner - my youngest will soon kick up a fuss if everyone else is wearing them.

Angela

Angela, my DS is wearing a blue suit and tie for formal night, and the same jacket with gray slacks for semi-formal. Other than the young set (I'd say 5-6 and younger) most of the boys wear slacks in the dining room, particularly on the late dining. I've heard several people mention the zip off slacks as a compromise. I'm just taking about 5 pairs of slacks for DS (including the 2 for his suit), 3 dress shirts w/ ties, 5 open necked shirts.

Hope this helps!

I know what you mean............. in the mid 90's I did Amer Girl doll clothes, beds and bedding at craft shows and my DS used to come and help - he would sell his "Snowman PooP" that he would put together. And we always had great chats together and would enjoy the long busy weekends. Now he is 19 and in college in sunny CA. He called several time during this show to check in and see how we were doing. Also to see if there were any of the vendors that he remembered still doing the show and was happy to chat with one from New York - Hatattitudes - that remembered him!

I would love to share photos with you regarding the clothes, if you like, LMK and I will PM you. Our website should be up by next week - it was either sew or build................. so we are a little behind.

Have a Happy Monday!!!!
