And who is staying after the cruise? I know Tinkfan is, we are. Will attempt to fit the Candlelight Processional, the Osbourne lights, and the Christmas parade at MK into three days. Oh, and there's a special Holiday ending being added to Illuminations, some changes to the AK parade for the Holidays, and the new Stitch attraction to see. I don't think we will be slowing down until we get home on NYE!

Sue, glad the bonine worked for you.

The best part of MVMCP is not having to stand on a curb for two hours to save a spot for the Christmas parade. It's a "don't miss" and they change it every year.

We're planning to go to the candlelight processional, too... I hadn't heard about the Osbourne Lights. This is at MGM? Do you need special tickets for this as well??

We are staying at the MCO Hyatt as well. We arrive at 9pm on Friday night. Maybe Mary can add a "night before" list to the next newsletter as well.

Bought the kids new skiis today. Asked them if they wanted to take them on the cruise. They looked at me as if I had grown another head.

I have no idea why. ;)

Really? I went 12/01, 12/02 and 12/03 and didn't notice any changes. What types of things do they change?

My FAVORITE part of that parade is the toy soldiers. I just love watching them!

The night before we are staying at the Polynesian and doing MVMCP.

After the cruise we are driving home.....

on my birthday......

Looking at that map it's incredible to think about population centers. For example, the state up north (just north of Ohio) went for Kerry, but there are only a handful of counties in that state that went for Kerry. Just amazing how many ppl must live (and vote) in those counties in order to swing the rest of the state. Hmmmm

So are we gonna have to plan on bailing you out of jail during the cruise too??????? Didn't know you were a part-time "distributor"!!!!!!!!

Isn't there a difference between selling them, and giving them away for free????

I wonder if the parade at MVMCP is similar to the Christmas Parade at Disneyland every year?

The part that really freaks me out is the dancing reindeer!

I love the rest of it.

Oh....and by the way....by "painkillers" I meant Tylenol.
:smooth:
The kind that they actually could have just bought at Walgreens.

 Going to bed now.....

GOOD THURSDAY MORNING TO ALL OF THE EAST COAST CRUISERS, AND ALL OF THE REST OF US TOO!!

Good night!

Stacey

We're staying at the MCO Hyatt pre-cruise (in LATE on the 16th, do the MVMCP with LTT dinner the 17th, drive to port the 18th). There is a restaurant at the MCO Hyatt , Hemisphere, that has a breakfast buffet. The food is standard fare, but the restaurant overlooks the runway, and it's neat to watch planes tak off and land. I always stay there before a cruise. I'm game for a buffett on the 18th, if anyone's interested.

We're staying at BCV from the 28th to the 1st.

Thanks for the encouragement! Do you ever increase the dosage? I stayed w/ 1/2 tab but the seas were calm.
It would depend for me. The first few days out it makes the most difference, after awhile (my experience) you get used to the boat/ship movement and you don't need as much, or even at all.

If the seas are rough on a small boat, the rocking is hard on you. The larger ships it feels nice to me...... Then you "know" you've got your Sea Legs.

That way, we don't make walk the plank!

Hi Christine...there are a few I think. We're going to be at the Grand Floridian......

I have two suitcases packed. Two entire suitcases with Christmas decorations, and extra "junk".....

The good news is that I am leaving most of that stuff behind, so I will have at least one empty bag to bring home "goodies"!
Whoo hoo!!:Pinkbounc

Wow Stacey........

It is fantastic that you are getting into the Christmas spirit.
Your room will look wonderful for the wine tasting party?

Thanks for being such a gracious host.
Let me know if you need help with anything prior to, I'll be happy to assist.

By the way, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Cheers

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is wonderful! We've done it for the past 2 years, but we are skipping it this year.

If you plan on staying to the end the best suggestion is to skip the first parade and do rides then. The 2nd parade is much less crowded. Don't forget to get your button and have your picture taken (it will be mailed to your home).

We love eating at Liberty Tree Tavern before the party and I think many in this group are doing that.

Enjoy!

Hi Mary......

Do you remember the times for both parades?

By the way our family is there on the 16th. Anyone else?

We're the odd ones out, I think. We're staying all the way down at Vero Beach the night before. Own there, have never stayed there.

Mark......have all the repairs been done to the resort since the hurricane.

I hope so.

Would you recommend buying DVC points at Vero Beach, as it is the least expensive there?

Guess what......we will have to sit through a 2 hour presentation at Ron Jon's in Port Canaveral while we are there.

Ok...my turn to talk to myself.

One last question from a newbie.

Do the suites on the Magic have fridges?

Hope everyone has a great night.

Nope. Prescribed meds are only for the person prescribed for. Any other use is illegal.

But of course this does not apply to tylenol.
