gonna try and snag this TOP. Then I've got to wear the dog out (within her low activity parameters) and get ready to go see Polar Express. :) Don't have too much fun without me!!! :)

How come I didn't get to be "Hot Tinsel"????

Congrats to Nick!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Guess I'll go unpack. The best part about this is knowing the next time I get the suitcases out, it will be cruisin' time!! Whoo hoo!!

Almost forgot......evil twin Lisa DID show up in Las Vegas!

She became a star onstage during the grand finale of "Zumanity" and did a very good job, if she does say so herself! (and she does!)

The rest of the report will be showing up shortly!

What's a tumbleflump??

I don't know what a tumbleflump is but I hope it's good 'cause I'm either TumbleFlump Holly Sprout or TumbleFlump Monstor Sprout --- think I'll stick with the Holly Sprout.

And another cool DIS meet item. We had dinner with the Burts (scuba diver et al) at Le Chefs after the diving tour (yes, back in October), and were there well after Illuminations was over. I told everyone that I had read somewhere on the DIS boards that they burn off the extra fuel left from Illuminations in one big fireball later on. And then we got to see it! Fwhoom!

Then we walked slowly out of the big empty park, and got pics by Spaceship Earth. This included our own private showing of the fountain. It doesn't get much better than that.

A pic of (almost) the only family in Epcot:

Stacey, waiting on the edge of my seat to hear the Zumanity story. This makes my butt fall asleep, so hurry.

Hope the Burts don't mind me posting their pic.

So how is everyone getting to the ship? We are leaving friday before and driving to tallahasse(sp?) and spending the night. Then get up early and finish the drive off and be to port around 11. I think it took us like 6 hours from tallahasse to WDW so it will probably then be like 8 hours. So if we left 530 we would be to port around 11:30 which isnt to bad. Whats eveyone else doing?
matt

We are flying in the night before, renting a car, staying at the Marriott at the airport and also getting up early in the morning to be one of the first on the ship. pirate: Race ya, Lindapirate:

Mary Ann....it seems Las Vegas changes every time I go, and that's usually once a month! You'll have to let me know when you go...I am a great tour guide!

We will be there April 14-23. We are getting in very late and are looking for a cheap place to stay before our check-in date on the 15th at our timeshare resort (Carriage House).

It would be great to meet up. Since you travel to Vegas alot I would be interested in your opinion on something. I have to say some people are giving me grief about bringing DD (9) to Vegas. Not that I can change plans at this point but, is this really a bad choice????

ATTENTION LATE DINERS!!!

I just got home, had an e-mail from Amy (our friend who helped us get into Sessions)

She has moved all of us back to late seating!!!

All should be well, now. I suggest in a day or two (or now) that everyone check their reservation again just to be sure.

ANGIE......you especially should check yours....you may have gotten moved back with the rest of us!

Well......that was fun, now, wasn't it?????

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

You're the best, Stacey. I haven't heard back from DU yet but I will still let everybody know what the deal is when they get back to me.

I think it is probably LYNDA AND CASH THE WONDER DOG and not me, Linda (Seaulater) with the party of 13 as we are on early dining since we got the grandkids with us.

When is fluff queen returning from her cruise?

Sorry about that Linda. But thanks for letting me know. You are correct and it should be Lynda. I got a little mixed up with all the confusion.

Thanks again.

Mary Ann,
We had always made Las Vegas a "No Kid" zone....but that's because we like to have time to ourselves.
There are a lot of things for kids to do in Las Vegas now. Rides, movies, the Wax Museum, arcades....I think it's fine. Also, you're not staying in one of the hotels on the strip, and as long as you aren't dragging her through the casinos, then I don't think it's any different than taking her on any other time share vacation.
She will get a huge kick out of seeing all of the amazing buildings, and even within some of the hotels, there are some really neat things to see. The Eiffel Tower, the gondolas at the Venetian, the dolphins and the lions & tigers at the Mirage.....
I think it's fine, so ignore what people say and have a good time.
Stacey

Diana, the rest of the Zumanity story is not open to the public!

I was referring to the rest of the DIS meet story with Linda and Robert.....which I will get to in a bit, I promise!

NABBED A T.O.P.!!!

AND....it was post # 15555

Just got word from my TA at DU -- she booked my REAS dates, INCLUDING brunch. I'm not sure who posted a zillion pages ago that they couldn't prebook brunch, but I would check with your TA.

BTW, we're staying at the MCO Hyatt, arriving so late on the 16th it may as well be the 17th, renting a car, doing LTT and MVMCP on the 17th, driving to port on the 18th. Early, if I have my way.

I thought Shirley won't book the tree until Dec. 1st???

We fly in on the 17th and are staying at MCO Hyatt. Using DCL bus to the port. That is easier for me with the wc, luggage, and something else......
Oh, DM:smooth:

I'll chime in.... DD (9) loves LV.... She loves going to Circus Circus... the shows...the food.... She also loves just lounging by the pool. We've done Hoover Dam a couple of times... Red Rock Canyon, etc..... There's plenty to do.....
