my dogs are used to me having a conversation with me, I think they get frustrated when I include them (they know they don't talk)

I have to look busy so I can stay on the pc. I feel like a guilty child:rolleyes: so I will just post to myself:bored:

You could do what I'm doing - look at the bargins at oldnavy.com and other online stores to see what I can find for clothes and other good deals.

So is our dog. He has a very selective memory for words. He knows out, outside, do you wanna, eat, treat, potty, shhhhhh, who is it?, ride, get 'em, and I think that's it. Oh yeah, he knows cheese and c-h-e-e-z (yes, he knows what we mean when we spell it out). He also recognizes a box of wheat thins (and doesn't confuse it with triscuits) and a box of croutons.

Do you sense a pattern with the words?

Yup. We're doing it on our own. Must be everyone else is being the dedicated workers they should be.:teeth: It's Friday, so I cut myself some slack.::yes:: :yo-yo:

what kind of dog, mine are black and tan dobermans, Jesse is 10 yo neutered male and Sammy is 7yo spayed female

I am making potato salad for a tail gate party before hs homecoming game tomorrow. I hope it stops raining at least for half time. I always love the band performances.

I just finished those payday bills and I found out why we had extra money in our checking account. My electronic payment to Discover card didn't go through last month, so they have us in non-payment status. Fixed that, so we're good to go now! Good thing I found it before DH tried to use the card while I was away. Bummed that we actually had to pay interest (we never carry a balance, so don't normally pay anything for the privilege of getting that 1% back!)

I was browsing JC Penney and looking for some pants for DS. Didn't find much, so maybe I'll try Old Navy. Land's End doesn't have any of his size on overstocks.

My house payment didn't go through once and it took me 2 months before the bank reimbursed me the late fee.

Mine is a 6 yo neutered male Chihuahua. He's brown with a black racing stripe (that's what we call it anyway) down his back. He's a little sissy who's afraid of his own bark (literally), but he's been told he has to take tranquilizers from now on when he goes to the vets to get shots or have his nails done (which I can't do myself).

That's why I don't do automatic payments. I don't trust them.

What is the little feller's name?
Jesse and Sam are very laid back but I don't do their nails. They have black nails and I nicked the vein or whatever is was and Jesse bled buckets  . Scared me so bad we go the vet for a tnt, toe nail trim:D

Sorry I thought I put that in there. His name is Pogo (as in pogostick). We call him Pogo Stix.

He throws a hissy fit when he goes in for his pedicure (that's what they call it). It takes to vet techs to do it (one to hold him and one to cut). He scratches and tries like heck to get away. He snubs everyone in the office now and all of them know him now (and that's a BAD thing). He hates to have his toes cut. I figure if I have to give him the tranquilizer to have them do it (at $20 a pop), I'm going to try it myself at least once before I bring him in. Hopefully I can.

Jenny, I really liked that one. Especially the chocolate part.

What, Garry, no more coffee? Did the doctor tell you that? Mean doctor!

Oh my, there are so many posts. I read them, I laugh, I have comments. Then by the time the post page has loaded on the dial-up, I have forgotten what I was going to say. I hate dial-up!
I'ts tough getting old, huh hon?
