Wahhh, I wanna go on the DVC cruise! Why do they always have to do it during school? More specifically, the first year of high school? Ah well, maybe they will still do the occasional DVC cruise when she's in college. But it will have to be a secret if we go.

So what is Tyson's Corner? Sounds like a fun place.

Mary, thanks for the newsletter. PAYMENT IS DUE???? I booked throught DU. Will they send me an email that says to pay up???

Loved finding out what excursions people are going on. That is my next planning activity! Cha-Ching $$$$$$$$

Love to, but can't. We've got Disney this month 16-22nd. Then there are OSU football games 10/23, 10/30. Then 10/30 starts weekly "advanced" puppy class every Saturday--ending 12/11. Rehearsals for The House on Pooh Coner starts 11/9. OSU marching band concert 11/12. The House on Pooh Corner performances start 11/26 and there are 35 of them taking us right up until 12/16 when we leave here! WHEW!

So as much fun as it'd be, I'm afraid I can't. I'll have to wait and do it when we take the kids to DC to sightsee!

Teresa - if you log in to Dreams and enter your reservation number and password a screen will come up that shows you how much you still owe and when it is due. I thought the due date was either 10/15 or 10/19. Not sure which. Edited to add - I just checked and it shows 10/19. So 2 more weeks and payment is due!

Yup, 10/19. We'll be at Disney then. I'll have to call from there b/c I want this to show up on my NEXT Disney VISA statement. This should give me a chunk of change to play with on my Disney Rewards card since we'll charge my parents cruise too!

Hey, if you are not using your Disney Rewards VISA, you can sign up for double miles on the American Express site. Starts on October 15! I will payoff on the 15th and get double miles!

Not a problem, just make a note of your reservation # in the "memo" section of your check and I'll be glad to put your cruise on my VISA.....

You know, I just wish DVC wouldn't take all our money up front. It's not like they pay DCL or anything until the 60 day window. They just earn interest on all our hard earned cash!!!!!

Dancind - Tysons Corner is a megaopolis of shopping in the Northern VA suburbs of D.C. - a verrrrry dangerous place to spend $$ before the cruise!

Lisa and any others relatively close - We could always pick another spot, dare I suggest the infamous Bavarian Biergarten in Jessup? www.blobspark.com If you can't have fun at Blob's Park, you're just not trying hard enough!

Yup, and the stinger is the remaining $12,900 is due 5 days later!

Are there even spots open????

Edited to say I didn't realize this wasn't for OUR cruise. Didn't even look at the dates. Nevermind, they dont' have to pay the balance in 5 days!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Wow I can't believe how time is flying. The cruise will be here before we know it!

Went shopping today, but didn't try anything on. Haven't lost those 10 lbs yet, but still working on it.

Changed our after cruise reservation from the Poly to Contemporary. We have done the poly several times and have always wanted to try the Contemp concierge. The finallly had a room open up so I grabbed it.

Tyson's meet sounds wonderful. Unfortunately we do not have off Veterans day. That is one of the days taken away due to the late start. We do have off Nov 1 & 2, so if either of those works out we can make it.

Well off to get DS to soccer practice.

OSU won the Sudler Trophy in 1984 for the best Collegiate marching band... and WVU won it in 1997.....
