Just checking on shore excursions and diving etc.etc.

What was your recommended dive shop on St. Maarten?
Are you diving here?
You mentioned it is NOT world class diving here.

DS and I tried to create "me" time from Scuba.Mom by diving. Drove up to Alexander Springs to try out the new dry suit and they are closed. Hurricane damage. Drove home. No quiet time for the Mom.

I do believe that St. Maarten is a family day. You can check his website for the LDS at St. Maarten. It's on the bottom of his postings.

Since he is at the lake this weekend he won't be back on until late or until Monday.

At least he got to dive this weekend. Water level and visibility at still to bad here is Central Florida. One of our holes has 2 inches of visiblity. Others are closed because of hurricane damage.

Guess we will just have to go dive at Epcot Center!

O***Minnie - the state in question wouldn't be MICHIGAN would it? We always have fun with the O/M game as my sister lives south of the boarder and her sons don't cheer for the same team. Never a dull moment when that game is on.

Yeah, can't say that state's name! bad bad word around here. I am trying to convince my kids that there are SOME good people in that state, but so far it's not working It's quite a fun rivalry. We're glad we have you in our stadium this year, that's for sure.

I'm happy to be getting so many button orders early - makes it easier to work on them. Final cut-off will be Thanksgiving. I think the weeks between that and the cruise will fly by.

Got a PM from Virgil and he has a great idea. When you give me your cabin number for the mini directory let me know if you want to participate in the "tag, your it" game. I'll be happy to add a symbol for that. Then anyone who wants to play can have the room numbers. Sound like a plan?

I'll let someone organize the game itself by making the "tag" mickey. I think I'm going to get enough funny looks bringing all the buttons and mini-navigators on board. The group who did tag before did it on a 4 day Wonder. Can you imagine the fun we'll have on the 10 day cruise!

gaRry - you need to go to User CP (button at top of page), then to Edit Options, then down to the bottom to change avatar. I looked at the ones they had and didn't see the firefighter so I think it might be someones personal one. If you see someone who has it you could ask if you can link from the same place they have).

Thanks gaRry - I did the newsletter today while watching the Nascar race. What has suffered by doing the newsletters is my scrapbooking (still haven't done much on our May trip), but I think it is totally worth it. Doing something like the newsletter to bring all the DIS'ers together is just my small part. I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone in December and if the newsletter and photo gallery has helped that then I'm happy!
