Hi everyone!

My boys made it back from camping. They got tons of rain where they were, which brought out the mosquitos - youngest DS got so many bites, he looks like he has chicken pox. Of course, DH says he didn't know he had bug spray in the duffle bag. :confused3:
So, it's been a fun day of laundry, in between Coach Pitch and T-ball games.

ohiominnie - I grew up in a midwest state that also had a big rivalry with yours and the "M" state. In fact, O**o (sorry to say) pretty nearly ruined every one of my college homecoming games.

Virgil - Like the "Tag" game idea! We're in.

Mary - We'd love buttons - I'll pm you.

:daisy: Stacey - Welcome back! Sounds like you had fun with your Mom! Just slightly crushed that you can't pay off our cruise balance. ;) An early Happy Anniversary to you and your DH, too!

GaRry - Is there still time to order t-shirts?

I do believe that St. Maarten is a family day. You can check his website for the LDS at St. Maarten.

Guess we will just have to go dive at Epcot Center!

Thanks Scubadiver............for the info.

Are you pulling my leg, can you really dive at the Epcot Center?

Also I'm making up the list for the mini-navigator. Right now the only ones I have for sure are afff and athurstance. I know others have said something in the thread but I wasn't organized enough to write it down. I now have a list I'm keeping by the computer so if you want to be included (to make it easier to play the "Tag, your it" game) let me know.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks Mary for the buttons and the mini navigator..........

By the way, what are the rules of the "TAG" game...... sounds fun.

Yes you can really dive at Epcot. Dive Quest is for certified divers and they even have a version of snuba for those who aren't certified. Mark and I would love to try that one. Maybe next June when we go!

The rules as I got them from a thread is that someone will tag your door with a green mickey head. You put your name and room number on it and then tag another DIS member. There is a thread on the main board about it. They did it on the 4 day Wonder and had a great time. Can you imagine how much fun we can have on 10 days! Are you in?

Top - Yes! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

It takes so little to make me happy. :D

GaRry,

I'm going to attempt to post this, but not sure how it will turn out. It's the picture of the firefighter with Mickey. Don't even know if it's the right size for an avitar. What you'll do is copy and paste this (if it works) then go to your CP, click on edit options, slide down and choose "change avitar," slide down to "enter the URL of your avitar, and paste this:

get rid of the spaces between http: and // those are only in there so this strand didn't show up as a link.

http: //www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid141/p58dada0ac28210ea87e665459a80ede2/f6c847f3.jpg

Again, hoping it works. :)

If it works, ohiomickey will think I've been faking my computer illiteracy.

Hurry GaRry.......before I become a pirate. That avitar looks nice.

Hey Tinksdad...........

Just checking on shore excursions and diving etc.etc.

What was your recommended dive shop on St. Maarten?
Are you diving here?
You mentioned it is NOT world class diving here.

Just curious......

Gus
The ship uses Dive Safaris (at least they did). They are OK, the other listed on the are good to, however most did not offer pick up service.
DD and I will not be diving on St. Maarten, instead we plan on doing stuff as a family. Since DW is feeling neglected (at least today) DD and I think this is a better strategy.

My suggestion would be to book through the ship. The dive will be fun and you'll have a good time. Even though the diving is not "world class" it's still better than some and will offer you an excellent chance to see some cool stuff.

You could both have it! After all you both walk the walk so why not show it with pride.

Sounds like a blast....count us in.

Even better when the kids can participate.

Thanks Mary........I'll have to check into that, the next time I am at WDW.
We will NOT be visiting there in December.
We spent too much money there last March.

We must make sure it's "Tag, you're it" and not "Tag your it"

Sorry, my homeschooling mom side has to rear it's ugly head. :)

:crazy2: OH NO!!! :crazy2: Not another one. DW "always" gets me on those.... jeezzz!

At least he got to dive this weekend. Water level and visibility at still to bad here is Central Florida. One of our holes has 2 inches of visibility. Others are closed because of hurricane damage.

Guess we will just have to go dive at Epcot Center!

What a drag for you and DS! It's bad enough not to dive, but to drive all the way there and be disappointed, That's rough!

So as not to rub it in. The diving today was really great! Actually we had a LDS party that involved the normal BBQ, frisbee tossing, volley ball, etc. We also had a search and rescue for weighted plastic Easter eggs at Perch Lake (a smallish lake with a plane, car and other interesting "landmarks" in it). Some had numbers eligible for prizes. Also did a navigation course for more prizes. I got the closest, but still blew rocks! Gotta work on the navigation skills a bit.

Will send PM for information and hook ups on the Epcot Dive. Is that cool or what just one more week and we're there! :bounce: :bounce:

So sorry. We're even studying contractions now, so it's very obvious to me.

On a side note... I'll try not to be too harsh if you use an subject pronoun as a direct object or an object of the preposition. ;)

I love homeschooling--I'm getting the education I didn't get when I went to school! :)

Took me a minute to get LDS. For awhile I thought "Latter Day Saints" are big scuba divers? Hmmm. :)

Sorry, that's Local Dive Store.

Kind of reminds me of all the acronyms that the Disney people and fans use. They can get a bit carried away.

It "that" is the prize, then I guess 14,049,235,957.5

The 1/2 post is this one.......

I agree - more like a penalty rather than a prize!!!:earseek:
