Well, i can only wonder about that attitude business......I just got home from seeing the ortho doc, whose X-rays confirmed that I did, indeed, break my foot again. Man, he slapped that sucker into a funny stiff shoe so fast I couldn't believe it..AND THEN he had the nerve to lecture me about walking around on it for DAYS without seeing a doctor, whereupon I reminded him that the last time I broke it and a neighbor drove me to the ER, it was X-rayed and pronounced fit as a foot could be so that several days later, when I could feel the bones grinding against one another I could spend MORE money visiting that same ortho doc who pronounced it broken....I mean, why not skip a step and save money?....break, grind, ortho, funny shoe...NO ER....
He smiled angelically and sent me away to lie on the couch...no vertical keyboard ...so I will be away for a while...back to horizontal hold...

Time to let the attitude heal...

I heard a rumor that you were going to teach Paul & Virgil to Hula on Tropical night!!

Well, I was mopping up rainwater that had blown into the entry. I tiptoed over the mini flood to get to the towels in the garage and, when I returned, threw the towels onto the wet spots. It was when I was practicing my hula steps and mopping the water with my bare feet, as they do in the islands, that I stepped off the wet towel onto the black glassy concrete floor of the entry and bent my foot in a way that would make any pointy-toed ballerina proud but that only brought me to my knee (You should see the bruise), elbow, and bottom with a final slap the likes of which you'd only hear in a busy delivery room.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

I guess that settles one question, we will be tendering at St. Lucia. Scuba diver gang, you might want to take that into consideration in scheduling your dives.

Yep, saw that! Thanks Stacy for the heads up. The small group of us will be diving with Dive Fair Helens and they will be picking us up. Should not be a problem.

Lynda, I think the only place they are going is out on the water, to scuba dive. The scuba dive sites are not really good for snorkeling, if that's what you have in mind.

Just read your post Dancind about tendering at St Lucia. Where do I find out which ports we are tendering and which ones docking? Its always useful to have an idea in advance even if it does change.

Anyone heard any updates on CC?

We sail in 14 weeks!

Another week closer to cruising!

Port Canaveral is open for business

Castaway Cay is well on the mend

Wow - these weeks are going to go really fast! So when do we want to start thinking about DIS meets on the cruise? We had discussed having one on sailaway day - say 3pm on deck 10. Does that work for everyone? Also there was talk of a wine party (or any other drink of your choice) - do we have a date and time for that yet? Any others? If there is interest I was thinking of doing a little mini DIS navigator and directory. It would list the names and cabin numbers of those who are interested. An easy way for everyone to keep in touch once onboard. I will only list those who want to be listed - I know some do not want their cabins known. What do you think? Any other meets or things you'd like to see in this?

I also need to get the list of button requests I already have and verify them with everyone. I'll do that when we get back from Hershey.
