If the ## that shows on the forum list is the ## of replies then the person that shows as the 8999 reply actually had the #9000 post since the forum does not count the original post as a reply. Are we counting replies or post ##???

Kevin, I have read that article by Dave Berry before, but forgot all about it. It is so true!

The rains have just started so we have decided to just sit down and watch a movie while we still have power. We will save the garage for when we are without the juice.

Vicki, you're making my head hurt. So does that mean that Garry didn't get the 9000 post? So who did, the one before or after? I'm good at math, honest.

Thanks for that! I'm forwarding it onto my MIL who just moved to FL and for the second time is in hurricane preparation mode. Maybe the snow of Ohio isn't looking to bad for her right now. We just got a long email that listed all of the preparations she's made to her house, along with everything they've done to help neighbors. From the sounds of it, they aren't getting much sleep with all the work that's needing to be done.

Beautiful and sunny here today in Ohio. A great day for the Buckeyes to win a home game!

The person BEFORE would have gotten the 9000th post. Garry got the 9000th REPLY.

Good afternoon everyone!
Well , we are between "squalls" here so the sun is out and the wind is light for the time being. Every time we get a band from the hurricane it gets rough though. We won't see the brunt of it till late tonight...early Sunday AM.... or so they say at the moment. What fun.
So we sit.... as long as we still have power I can play online... so let's pump up that post count!!!

I'm here.....been lurking....

I was watching the path of the storm. Seems to be taking more of a western turn than expected. But that means Orlando will still get it no matter what.

My original plans for this weekend were to do absolutely nothing. I don't know how much longer I can last doing "nothing".
I still didn't install the toilet seat....guess I could go do that.

May have to hit the mall tomorrow......not buying anything, but it beats working or sitting at home.

I e-mailed my cousin in Florida, haven't heard back. At least I know they're okay so far.
Did you see Geraldo Rivera out there trying to get blown away? Would we miss him if he did?

I'm with Mary...that whole post count thing gave me a headache. Can't change it now, it would be far too confusing. Can't teach an old dog new tricks! But, Minnie, there's still hope for Maggie!

I have so many that I love. Love Tigger's spunk. Eeyore--poor thing, I root for the underdog a lot--gotta love Eeyore. Minnie--she danced with my son for a long time at an E-ticket night. Stitch, he's just so cute. Dory--cracks me up.

But I'm with Paul....My FAVORITE is Mickey. After all, it all started with a Mouse.
