DH and I did a vow renewal on our 15th anniversary (or was it 14th?) at WDW! You make a reservation at the Garden Grille in Epcot, and tell them it's your anniversary. It's free! LOL, just kidding.

Stacey, we have had mountain lions and bears in our neighborhood, coming out of the mountains looking for food during droughts. We live in the foothills. Luckily, not in our driveway.

I'm glad we don't have bears here. We do at the cabin...but rarely see them.

Lions and tigers and bears....oh my!

Back to the clothes thing.....I have some outfits from the Sept cruise that I was going to wear at Christmas...none of you have ever seen them, and I'm not proud. BUT....if I don't get this weight back off, that'll be out, and I'll be at Marshall's. I also like J Jill's...do any of you have their stores, or get their catalogs?
I still have one really really cute capri outfit that I've never gotten small enough to wear...it's a 12, but small.
I just got a lime-green t-shirt on e-Bay with four sparkly different colored Mickeys on it for our DIS meet at the sail away party. It's cute, and I'd not seen one like it, ever.
Oh, and Linda...I wear a 6 and a half shoe, or sometimes a seven. Which reminds me, I bought a really cute pair of flat white sandals in Las Vegas, between the toe type...but I can't wear them. They're a size 7.....any takers? I'll just box them up and send them...no charge. Can't stand to see them go to waste.

Anyway....it's that time again. Guess I'll go rest my weary head.

Good morning everyone!

Well I can't share with you size 12 people either. I'm afraid I'm much larger than that as well.

Teresa - yes DH usually wears a tropical shirt and either dockers or shorts for tropical night. Actually both times we did the 7 day cruises our servers told us shorts were ok - but that has been up for debate on the boards. I picked up a cute Disney sundress and matching shirt for the 10 day. I'm sure we'll see many similar sets on the cruise, but that's ok.

Morning guys! Got to love the fact that we actually know what we're wearing nearly 200 days from now!! I'm restraining myself from packing until after the summer! But I have specifically bought a number of things. I bought DH a black suit for formal and semi-formal nights. I've got DD's formal and semi formal clothes. Here's hoping she doesn't grow too fast. She's always been so skinny, but now that puberty is upon her, she's rounding out (TMI, I know!). She might actually be able to wear regular sizes this school year, instead of slims that fall off her hips. Last summer, when she was 11 1/2, she could still fit into some size 6x shorts, and 7s were very comfortable on her. This summer, she's wearing some 10s and 12s in capris and shorts. She needs the 14 slims for length in jeans though.

I've got my DD and my tropical night attire. I have floral capris, and she has a matching sundress. Haven't picked out DH and DS's yet. Actually I keep hoping DS will grow, so I'm holding off on buying things. I do have all the bathing suits for both kids already too. Whoever asked about the swimsuits, no I buy mine from Land's End on their overstocks page. I swear by their stuff, cause it lasts and lasts! Their ladies suits are cute, but actually cover your behind, and stay in place! I actually get a Christmas card from Land's End every year since I'm such a good customer. And I can count on one hand the number of things I pay full price for.

Stacey, you, Diana and Lynda are freaking me out about wildlife out west. You all seem to find the craziest things!

A fun little game taken from the Community Board that I thought would be good for this group.

When you think of the posters on this board who do you see in your mind (yes I know a number of our pictures are up), but if you didn't have the picture.

I'll start. With gaRry I think of Viggo Mortensen as Frank Hopkins from Hidalgo. A man who loves his horse and is always on the move.

I picture Mary as the Fairy Godmother. She's always got the answers we need, and she's so nice about it!

I picture Virgil as Robert Young in Father Know's Best. Yes, I know I'm not that old, but we had it as reruns when I was a kid.

Well I guess I got a great deal on the vow renewal. When I booked it - it was $1000. Included everything that it says on the website now. (I know it's still a lot, but please let me feel like I got a bargain!) Maybe they knew how much I wanted this.
I got so nervous when I read about the cost of it now - that I called DCL and made sure everything was still paid in full.

That was how much it was when I was wanting to do it, too....
and yes, as far as I'm concerned, it IS a bargain! I would do it for that.....if they had room for me! That's not much more than doing the REAS.

Okay, so Land's End is a good place to buy a swimsuit?

I've bought one new dress for formal night. Got a steal of a deal last weekend when shopping. That's the only thing I've bought so far. Guess I need to start shopping. I am behind with this group. Too much work and not enough time on the boards I guess.

Land's end has great swimsuits....just not enough of them with underwires to suit me. (Sorry, fellas....TMI, I know...but us girls have got to talk!)

DD repeatedly tells me that I look & act just like Emily Gilmore on the Gilmore Girls. I keep insisting that I am more like Lorelei. Gorgeous, 30 something, witty. Hmm. Two out of three?

I found new formals at the after Christmas sales this year. DD goes and visits hers in my closet, she just loves them. If she keeps growing at the rate she has been, though, they may not fit!
