We had a wonderful day with family and friends.

Got to visit with Mark's Aunt and her family here in TN. Went to lunch with them and then to a European car show.

Tonight we went to dinner with RobinTN and her family. I so wish they were still coming on the cruise with us. It was great to finally meet her in person. She is a sweetie!

Tomorrow we hit the road again for the final leg of our journey and should be home early tomorrow evening.

dh worked in the morning, then this afternoon the kids swam in our recently opened, although cold, pool. This evening we went to our new neighbors house and had a cookout. They are really great people!

Now I think we'll get the kids in bed and veg out watching a movie.

I ended up doing basically what I said I was going to do...almost nothing. Printed pictures...that's about all.

Our friends called at about 6:45.....asked what we were doing for dinner. Shock of all shocks, I told them I was cooking, they asked what they could bring, and said they'd be right over!
(See, it's like a solar eclipse when I cook, everyone has to come watch the once-in-a-lifetime event)
So we had company for dinner & watched the Diamondbacks get creamed by the Dodgers. DD had a fit when Matt Kata dislocated his shoulder. She's his biggest fan.

Such a wonderful day, it was. Stayed home, relaxed...no packing or unpacking......beautiful weather. The kids swam for a little while. Life is good.

Good Morning....

It was a beautiful day here yesterday.... Managed just to relax after work.... and watch a couple of movies....

Today - back to dreary with a forecast of rain....that on top of working a 10 hour shift today... Joy, Joy.....

Mary - glad you're having a good trip... Does sound like fun...

And, truthfully, Jordan did get sick in the middle of the night last night. She blamed it on her dad for buying the "wrong" kind of ketchup! (Did someone ask for ketchup??) Works for me!

We managed to beat all the bad weather (or actually get home between systems).

The mail has been sorted (and most of it thrown away. Think I'll hold off on laundry until tomorrow. The Coca-Cola 600 just started!
