I have to get DD up and moving she has an early hair appt. She heads off to NYC Thursday night with "100 of her closest Choir friendsShe is soooo excited - NYC and no mom or dad. "

going to look at a horse this afternoon for DS. I really hope it works out we have seen him twice but he hasn't ridden him yet. He is sooo cool, (and the price is right cannot spend DCL $$ for a horse) but his training so far isn't what we need. Will be a question of whether he can do it let ya know how it turns out later.

Morning all! Sorry I missed chat last night. We had a huge lightning storm here, and given our track record with lightning, I wasn't about to go on-line! It lasted from about 8:30 till 10:30 and lit up the house just like daylight! Oh well, at least the power stayed on. It flickered several times, but never went out.

Vicki, I just now read the quote on your posts. I really like that. It sums up just what I think, even though I never put it in words. Very nice. Good luck with DS's horse hunt. And NYC for the DD???? As cute as she is, I know I'd be sweating big time! Just kidding, I"m sure she'll have a great time though.

Charlotte, you hanging in there all right? Between you and Stace, those baseball games are cutting into your DIS time, huh?

Gail, sending out prayers for your DD. Hope things get a little clearer on the dr front Monday. Maybe DD can make a list of what she wants to eat but can't have this weekend, then you can have a party with all of those treats once she can eat?

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there. My DS made me the cutest card at school yesterday, and even gave me a hug when I read it (he's really past that hugging stage, so that was a big deal!). He just has the sweetest smile, it just melts my heart!

Hi Lisa! What you said about your DS made me smile.....I only get my hugs on Sundays...that's his rule now that he's "all grown up" at the whopping age of 10!
Ah, yes, baseball....we're almost done. Jay and I still have our softball games, though.
And dance will be done in two weeks, also.

Vicki....hope the horse deal works out for Gregg......I know for him, it won't make things 100% better, but might help some.

Happy Saturday everyone! Looks like it's pretty quiet out there, must be the nice weather and all those DH's out shopping for Mother's day (Yeah.....right)

We are one week closer to the cruise!

Can't wait to hear from Lynda and Cash! I'm sure she will have many stories for us about Cash's experiences this last week!

Am I glad they're almost over....and I think that may have been his last Saturday game...only night games left. Like it's a whole lot cooler at 5:00!

Don't worry, you aren't the last ones on earth not to see it - none of us have seen it either.

Have no clue what we are doing tomorrow - probably nothing now. DD has been sick all day over at Grandmom and Grandpop's house. We brought her home tonight, so hope she feels a bit better tomorrow. At least her temperature has come down a couple of degrees.

We are going on the CA to FL PC cruise also.
Was tought had to twist DH's arm.
But he said OK
Cost of 2 big trips & he misses are 10 - 14 day trip to WDW.
May as well spend the money now.
You never know what the future will bring.
Have rooms booked for us and our DD's.
Don't know if they will be able to go (school & work)
Now I will have more pages to try and read.
You all seem like such a friendly bunch of people.
Love reading all your post.
I work to much and don't think I remember how to socialize.

I just survived 3 1/2 hours of dance recital. Lauren was in 6 or 7 numbers - scattered throughout - so I wasn't one of the lucky ones who got to go home.....

we would also be in the ## that haven't seen haunted mansion. I know the dd & ds have, but not dh or I.

DS found a horse he would like but it is a bit out of current price range as in $50,000+ I really think I need to win the lotto.... oops I haven't bought any tickets... maybe I had better invest in a few of them or head to Vegas (with Stacey).
