Paul, that sounds like something I would say ::yes:: :teeth:

Well I took the plunge tonight and ordered a new computer :earseek: . Hopefully this will solve a lot of problems. Besides the fact that DH is getting a new camcorder for his service award, and a new computer was needed to use some of the features on it. I thought that was pretty good thinking - blaming him for the new computer since he's getting a free camcorder.

OK Stacey tell me where I can find these pictures of you so I can take a look too, please.

Well, g'night all :wave2:

Good late evening!
Okay, all packed and ready to go! Nowhere near as much fun as OhioMinnie & Lynda!
You two (3 counting Cash) have a great time on your trips!!!

jilljill....go back to page 355 and find my post with the link to the picture of Snow White. Also, if you click where it says (I think) Justmestace's album (or something like that) you can see some of my other pics. Mostly the wedding.

GaRry.....How are you doing? Hopefully all is going well. I feel really bad for you, been there....it's no fun! Just wanted to tell you to keep your fingers crossed....hoping to win some big $$ to share with some of my pals! Tell you what, at Palo....dessert's on me! :mickeybar Now how's THAT for generous????

  I'm beat...guess it's that time:

GOOD WONDERFUL ONE MORE DAY TILL FRIDAY, THURSDAY MORNING ALL!

Stacey

Lynda... and Cash of course...

Have a great trip - Can't wait to hear the stories of "Verandah Dog"....... We'll try and keep the fluff going for you.... It's been fun watching the thread drop down... and down....

Ohiominnie....

Have a great trip - don't know where we came up with it being KTs birthday.....Hope you have a great cruise....(don't forget to make the ressies for the PC cruise for the parents.... so that you can switch to late dining....  )

Take care!

Good morning everyone!

Stacey - thanks for the great pictures from Disneyland. My first visit wasn't until the late '70's , but I love looking at the history of the park. I remember doing the canoe back then!

Good morning all!

Stace - Have a wonderful trip! Hope you win! The DL pics are cool......sure looks different now.

ohiominnie - Enjoy your cruise - sounds great!

Lynda & Cash - Wow! It's almost here - safe travels and have fun!

Anyone else traveling - enjoy, enjoy!

(Did I miss anyone?)

Boy, it's felt like a l-o-n-g week. Must be the quiet before the storm of DCL's hoped-for announcement next week!

jilljill - Good for you - a new computer! Happy days!

The sun is out this morning - if our mower ever gets back, I'll have to mow fast.......supposed to start raining again Saturday-Tuesday. :(

Have a good Thursday everyone!

Never been to Disneyland.... only to DisneyWorld.... Part of the problem of living on the East Coast.

My father was a steelworker - and we traveled extensively up and down the East Coast.... but never made it past the Mississippi.

I was really disappointed by the projected dates for the repositioning cruise. Just won't work for us. The trip West - DD - will still be in school.... and the trip East - conflicts with our State Medical meeting - and DW is President-Elect of the WV State Medical Association Alliance... - so that's out....

Probably for the better - would have taken a lot of convincing to get DW to do it.... DD on the other hand would leave tomorrow....

Have a wonderful Thursday!

Virgil,

You really should give Disneyland a try. It's a great vacation as well. Disneyland itself is smaller than Magic Kingdom at WDW but has a charm that is very special. For one thing it is Walt's park - he walked around here. They have the Matterhorn, Tiki Room (the real one - not that nasty remake like WDW) and New Orleans Square...all things you don't have at WDW.

California Adventure is a really great addition. They also have their own Downtown Disney.

We try to go out every couple of years and in addition to Disneyland we do San Diego Zoo.

That's why we were hoping they would do short 4-day cruises combined with a Disneyland visit.

Stacey - sending you pixie dust :wizard: that your broken tags get fixed.

Good Morning All!

Really off and running this a.m. Things to do before we leave at noon.

Thanks for the P.D. Mary.

Looks like I'll have to swamp Virgil with DL pictures to show him how cool it really is! The balcony where we watch Fantasmic is part of Walt's own apartment! They give you some pretty interesting little facts about he & his wife when they stayed there. I guess she re-arranged the furniture all the time, and he liked to read....so there are outlets all around the living room, so that Walt could plug in his lamp, no matter whe she moved his chair!
We can't do the repositioning either....kids are in school both times. In a way, that takes some stress off....don't have to fight the frenzy for rooms! That is one trip that DH would have loved, though.

Okay...I'll be back later with one fare-thee-well before we go.

Great day everyone!

Stacey

I found this on the Disneyland board....this is cool.
Clips of Disneyland from the old days.

I am amazed at how much it's changed.

Holy Cow, men in hats, women in dresses...Disneyland as Church.... Look at those cars! Cuba in the 90's...

I was there first in '56. Never did go on the submarine....Ever. Last trip there was 2002 with Mom. We stayed in a condo a block away and I rode my scooter to the park... all those new buildings and the convention center crowding in now..

Lynda, Cash & Ohiominnie - have great trips!

Stacey- I must have missed it - where are you off to?

We still have 3 weeks until we leave. You won't be rid of me however because we're bringing the notebook.:D

Mary, DH and I are going to Las Vegas. (Yes, AGAIN) I am playing in my first-ever slot tournament. DH & my host had to really talk me into it, I'm not that much interested in competition. But the grand prize of $250,000 would be nice. We'll be at the Mirage this time. Back around dinner time Sunday.

Lynda.....I was pretty intrigued by the clothing, too. I thought "Oh man, is that what I looked like back then??"

Not that we have talked about this in a while, but I heard something interesting on the radio this a.m. and it was backed up by a couple of vets and dog breeders......they said that if your dog (or cat, or any animal...even humans) has diarrhea, put a "dollop" of canned pumpkin in with their food. (the plain kind, not with spices--duh) They said it works amazingly well, and won't hurt them at all.
Lynda, throw in a can of pumpkin!

Later,
Stacey

Stacey - oh I see - back to Vegas but this time you are bringing your own man along :D Good luck and hope you win big!

I shall do that very thing, thanks for the tip!...Big boy had a terrible time getting back on schedule with all that travel...and the temporary switch to a canned food...
This time NO canned food but a dollop of pumpkin on top of his crunchies...
