Stacey: just noticed on your counter that you are staying at the Grand CA. We stayed there on conceirge level with our DVC points and it was great. I loved the lounge and esp wine & cheese time every evening. In fact... I think we spent more time there than in the parks... :

I am exhausted, had a big day at the estate sales. Walked into this one HUGE house, with a HUGE master bedroom with a wall to wall closet, full of dresses from the 40s and 50s. Thought I'd died and gone to vintage clothing heaven. Lugging clothes around is quite a workout. My legs actually hurt. If I were on Weight Watchers, how many points do you think I'd get for that?

Hi Guys (and Gals)......a very tired me here.

I may hibernate and not come out until December 17th....enough time to get on the plane!

Jared's game was a good one, they won....they're #1 in the league. The kid is more gun-shy (ball-shy??) now than the day he got hit. When he was at bat, he ducked every time a pitch was thrown. DH was REALLY mad. We finally had to tell him (DH) to lay off. After the game, Jared received numerous "pep" talks from coaches, our friends, his dad....they're all trying to teach him the meaning of "going out swinging". I finally just told Jared next game, I'd give him five bucks every time he swung.....never mind hitting the ball...just swing at it...instant $5. This seemed to interest him. Bribery?? Sure, why not? He has to get over his fear somehow. What do you all think?

I called DL and made our Fantasmic Dessert Buffet Balcony reservations. We're at the 30 day mark. Must not be a very busy time, we had no trouble getting the tickets.

GREAT pictures of the group meeting at WL!!! How much fun was THAT???!!!! I wish we all could have been there. Looks like someone really likes ketchup! Weren't those supposed to be wine bottles? And, yes, what DO the kids have on their heads? Napkins? Looks like they were having a ball, in spite of the age differences.

Jay and I are going to Las Vegas next weekend for the slot tournament......any men out there that want to meet up? (Okay ladies, you too!)

Heading off...think I'll read LeiLani's report finally......then off to bed.

Who asked for the ketchup? someone asked.....that would be my DD, who is in the white shirt laughing hysterically. I believe this was the first time she asked for it, she had to ask again because the kids gave a way all the bottles the next time someone needed it.

Good Afternoon everyone!

Ahhhh it sure has been S L O W on this board! At least that's a speed I can keep up with though!

34 weeks until we are sitting on the ship... eating that fabulous embarkation lunch.... LOVE THOSE SHRIMP!!!

Got my weekly dose of Disney Dollars today to hide away! The CM's at the store know what I'm doing and we chat about it every week so that's fun.

Okay... just checking in... gotta go vac the pool..

Sleep?...No time for sleep...I'm a-packin'. Must have rebagged 20 pounds of dog food to be carried in the scooter basket for the land portion then shoved another 15 pounds in a suitcase for the sea part....Wellll, DCL said not to expect them to feed him. Wish I had a DCL tag for the extra suitcase, though...I can just see it now...Suitcase missing, no dog food on board and Cash waiting for a steak at Palo....With all that dog food packed I don't even have room for my Pepsi.....Oh, well...

We will depart Friday afternoon and spend the night at a local Sheraton then take a morning flight to Orlando on Sat....(Staying at the Sheraton with SPG points is the only way I've figured out how to get my scooter unloaded from the truck and loaded onto a shuttle to the airport, (where finding someone to help unload it from the truck before the flight and reloaded back onto the truck in the middle of the parking lot when I return would just be impossible).

I'll park my truck for 3 weeks at the Sheraton, then, after the trip, get my scooter shuttled back (Thank you, Sheraton....) and get the scooter loaded back into the truck (Thank you Sheraton staff!!) so I can head home..)...I remember airline travel being a LOT easier before the scooter came into my life, that's for sure....but all that walking........

Think of me when you hit 6,000.... We'll be back with lots of Service Dog at sea stories, I'm sure!! Anyone need errands done on the Wonder?....Information? :happy2:

Happy Saturday everyone. We survived the dance team car wash today. I only helped dry for about an hour, and I can tell I'm going to be hurting tomorrow. I'm not accustomed to manual labor. DD is exhausted, she worked for 3 1/2 hours non-stop, and did 1 1/2 hour pointe class before that. Dad went scuba diving today (and Mom is not happy about that).

Stacey, I'm a firm believer in bribery. With certain types of kiddos (ie mine), it works like a charm. Has worked for everything from getting her to read in 1st grade, to getting straight A's in 7th, and lots in between.

Hey, where is everybody? I'm only having to read about one page a day to catch up!
