Our TA just called us to let us she received our docs yesterday. It's official!!! We are ready to board!!!

:cool1: :jumping1: :cool1: :jumping1::cool1: :jumping1: :cool1: :jumping1::cool1:

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Ok, how is it our thread has fallen off Page 1 ??? Anyone??? We can't allow this to happen less than 5 weeks away from the 2004 Easter Cruise. Ok, I feel better now.

I have started filling out all the docs this morning. You know..., embarkation forms, departure information, cruise contract, Bahamas immigration forms and so on.

DD is out sunbathing. (One of the advantages of living in Florida. :cool2: ) I'm reviewing packing lists. DW is reviewing the clothes situation. DS is working on the GameCube.

We'll see you all real soon.

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Well my documents came yeaterday......SOAKING WET!! the UPS driver just left them sitting out in the rain.....
They are still drying out........
I have a covered front porch, but he's too lazy to walk up to the front door, and leaves all of my packages near the UNCOVERED rear door.

OH WELL.............I'm going on a cruise...and he's not...HA HA HA HA!!!!!
See ya all VERY soon..............
Michigan go figure....68 degrees on Friday, and SNOW today!!!:teeth:

Still waiting on our docs here. I called All Seasons yesterday and they said generally it is 2 weeks from the cruise when they get them. This is the first time we have used a TA and I guess because they book the rooms as a group it takes longer to get the documents. (At least that is what they are telling me :scratchin ). I guess I will just have to wait patiently for them. ::yes::

Trying to pack this weekend for our trip to WDW next weekend. We leave on Thursday to drive up to Minneapolis and fly into Destin, FL for 2 days to see my grandmother and then we drive down to WDW. We will be at the BCV from the 14th to the 21st. Trying to make plans for the WDW trip and the cruise all at the same time is getting a bit overwhelming, but I can't wait.:sunny: :boat:

Send your docs down. It's sunny :sunny: and the high today is 82. We'll have your docs dry in no time.

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

That's not even funny!!!!
It's 34 out and snow flurries....
REALLY!!! I truly hate living in Michigan.......
If I was young again, and starting a new job and family it WOULD NOT be in Michigan!!

Hey, thanks for the offer....I may just fly them down myself and wait for them to dry...i wouldn't want to leave them out of my site!

WOW!! 82 sure sound great!!! have a nice weekend....

Hans, I'm so envious of your weather. I better not tell my DD yours is sunbathing when she is inside doing school projects! I made the mistake of commenting about how white her legs were and now she wants me to take her to a tanning salon before the cruise!

We are sick of cold and rain and cannot wait for the nice sunny weather in Florida!

LeiLani-
You are not alone, we are also patiently waiting for our docs to arrive! I think it might be taking longer for us because we booked this cruise using DVC points.

I still have to get DS a new suit, and a tropical outfit for myself. Other than that, I am ready to go!:boat:

Still trying to talk the family into swimming with the stingrays. We just bought a new digital camera, and some sort of case so it can be used underwater. Doesn't that sound like a good enough reason to go to Stingray City? :teeth:

The weather has been so dreary lately; I can't wait to go!

I just wanted to show you our weather for the next couple of days....Ok..Laugh and enjoy the following!!

Predicting 1-3 inches of snow here in Jersey too, and to think, the tulips are just begining to sprout!

Sorry I couldn't get back to the boards sooner, but it was such a beautiful day here today.
Partly cloudy with the winds coming out of west at 25mph. Oh, the tempeture is 83 but the wind chill is making it feel like it is 81.:sunny:

P.S. I used to live in Joisey when i was a kid and delivered the Asbury Park Press on my bicycle. I know what the winters are like there.

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hello all,

Sorry I haven't been contributing to the board.

I was in the keys this past week. Trying to go big game fishing out of Islamorada but the winds were just too strong. Spent several days in Key West. What a great place! You are all going to love the place.

There is so much to do. I brought back at least a hundred brochures of things to do. If you tried to book through DCL and they are all booked ...don't worry.

If you let me know anything you are interested in, I can direct you to several options. Just let me know.

I am not sure what we are going to do yet.

Everybody is going to love Mallory Square at Sunset. The street theater is very entertaining. Even saw a real wedding right at sunset. All the cruise ships seems to dock right at Mallory Square so I suspect DCL will also.

Any questions....Don't hesitate to ask!!!!!!

I was there five years ago and it really has been built up!!!

I received my travel doc's while I was away. I reviewed with my DW yesterday. Everything looks in order.

It is snowing here on Long Island today....Can't believe I came home to this!!!!

We are almost there. Just have to hang in there for a few more weeks.

Hi,
Can we get an idea if any teens are going to sign up for "The Wild Side" trip on CC?
My son asked if anyone else that I knew was going?
I told him I would ask.....
Has any one of your kids participated on this excursion on prior trips? Is it fun? Is it worth it?
I signed up to Parasail w/ my 14yr old son...the wife chickened out....
Thanks...see ya soon
Oh...The reason I ask is the Wild Side hours( 4Hours) will conflict w/ our scheduled times to parasail. If this is fun, and teens are all going. I can reschedule our parasail time.

What is the Wild Side trip?

Maybe my boys are not old enough to participate. Thay are 12 and 10.

Can you explain?

Thanks!!

Dennis

Denvick,

Yep, teens only adventure.....
Well at least that is what it said on the brochure.....
Doug

dtheboys,
I don't know. I kind of like the thought of the family hanging out together at Castaway Cay, being the last day of vacation and all. Unless DS (who now goes by blink14 on these boards!) starts begging me to go, I don't think we'll sign up.

Denvick,
Welcome back; it is good to hear such nice things about Key West! I am really looking forward to the activities and sunset at Mallory Square!

***edited to add that my docs just arrived!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Hi Everyone!

Denvick,

Yes the ship does dock at Mallory Square. It is a great spot and real easy to get to the heart of Key West. We did not see Mallory Square at sunset last year because we had early dinning but we are looking forward to it this year. If you should miss the ships horn coming out of Port Canaveral they blew it again when we docked in Key West, which is around 12:30pm.

dtheboys,

I have not signed up my DD and her friend. Even though she was signed up for it last year she decided not to go. They are teenage girls, :smooth: :hyper: all they want to do is hang out at the beach :sunny: .

Still no docs.:( Oh well, Disney World here I come.:teeth:
