Thanks so much for the info. I think when I come back from skiing in the next few days I will book the jet ski. I am going to talk to my DW about it as we head up to Vermont.

I booked the half day excursion to Stingray city with Captain Marvins from 10 a.m. -1 p.m.

As I said earlier, The kids are off this upcoming week so we are taking them skiing for a few days. Going to be cold in Vermont!

Have a great time skiing. DH wants to go so bad but we are having a hard time fitting it in with all of our other vacations. It is a little bit harder to do from the Mid-West so we want to make a week of it. I told him we would plan for next spring break, even though the girls and I want to head some where warm by that time .

We also booked the 10am - 1pm excursion with Capt. Marvins so I just sent an email to them requesting our reservations be linked. I will let you know what happens.

I just got an email back from Capt Marvins and they are going to put us on the same boat. I also made reservations over the weekend for the Jet Ski tour in Key West. One thing I found out when I made the reservations is that you have to be 21yo to drive a jet ski, so DD and her friend will ride with DH and myself. We booked the tour for 1:30pm.

dtheboys, we arrive in Grand Cayman at 7am, so there will be plenty of time to make it to Capt. Marvins. We also booked the 10am excursion to Stingray City with them, so I checked all the times before I made the arrangements a couple of weeks ago.

Denvick's family and my group are also doing the half day excursion with Capt. Marvin's at 10am. I requested that they put Denvick's family and ours on the same boat which they said no problem. If there is enough room and you guys all want to be on the same boat let me know and I will email Joan back and make the request.

This sounds like it is going to be a great excursion and I can't wait. I am just keeping my fingers crossed because last year on our cruise in March we were unable to port in GC. It was a nice day at sea but we missed the sting ray city tour.

That sounds like a great idea, thanks for taking care of it for all of us. Funny you should mention being unable to dock, I saw a friend whose family was on the Magic this past Christmas and they were unable to make the stop in GC because of rough seas.
It sounds like this happens alot based on what I'v read on these boards. We'll just have to hope for the best!

I will send an email to Joan today to see if we can all get on the same boat.

I think it is hit and miss at GC, although, it seems like it tends to happen more in the winter & spring months. If the ships keep going to GC I wonder if they might consider building a pier? We will just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope we can get in this time.

I just booked our first excursion with Captain Marvin's for the 10:00AM Stingray City. Now back to work to book more excursions. How many people are on one boat? Maybe we can slip on with the rest of the DIS'ers.

I got an email back from Ruth at Capt. Marvins and they noted that we all want to be on the same boat. They've never said how many go on a boat but maybe we can all be on the same one. I also see that Hans Solo has booked this excursion so I will see if we can add them.

Right now we have asked for my family, Denvick's family, dtheboys family, and Goodeguys family to all be on the same boat. This could be fun, we would have a boat full of DISers.

I know you are staying at the Hyatt also on Friday night.

Well we changed our flt arrival time to 1:45pm on the 9th so we are going to rent a car, and drive to WDW, and have dinner at Boma, AKL.

Since I have an AP, I'm going over to EPCOT to ride mission space while I drop the rest of the family off at DTD.

We also decided to keep the car and drive to the port in the morning and save the cost of the DCL transfers for that portion of the trip.

Just wanted to update the list.

Captain Marvins sounds like fun. My DH and DD weren't all that interested in swimming with the stingrays. We are thinking of renting a Jeep for a little exploring. We have never been there and thought it might be fun to see a little of the island on our own. Has anyone ever done this or know anything about it? Thanks!

Yes, we are staying at the Hyatt on the 9th. We get in at 12:58pm, while the in-laws get in at 10:30am. Since they are coming from the West coast they are flying a red-eye so we thought we would just hang out around the Hyatt that afternoon. We have reservations for dinner at Victoria & Alberts on Friday night, and have a rental car reserved for that night but not sure if we are going to use it or use a limo. We are taking the Hummerzine from Happy Limo to the port on Saturday.

I don't know anything about the jeep tour but you could do a search and see if someone has done this, or post a question on the regular cruise boards.

Sounds like you will have a great time! I couldn't talk anyone in my family into this excursion! Looks like we'll just be hitting the beach for most of the day, not that that's a bad thing! We also plan to check out the turtle farm.

Hello all,

Back from my ski vacation in Vermont. great time!! The boys even took a 95 MPH snowmobile ride across a frozen reservoir. What a thrill for them.

Well I can see evedrybody has been making Excrursion reservations.

It will be great to have all the Diser's on the Sting Ray tour. Leilana is truly the travel coordinator. She is marvelous getting everybody together on the same boat. It will be her shortly!!!!

My DS's (12 and 10) would love to talk on AIM. Any boys around the same age who would like to share interests before the cruise? Let me know!!!
