Cheryl, the best part of a big group is that even if you aren't terribly talkative, you can slide into a few conversations, and even if you don't do that, a smile goes a long way!

I used to do the overnight shift...I remember coming home at 8am and having a beer and dinner and trying to go to bed. We would switch shifts every 2 weeks - first 8am - 4pm, then 4pm till midnight, then midnight to 8am. My body would just get used to one shift and then have to move to another, it was awful. Then I got married, and got pregnant, and had kids - tell a 6 mo. old that mommy has to sleep in the day. I can completely empahtize, sleep well today!
DH is somewhat shy too, but I tend to overcompensate... *grin* As I said before, you have been warned!

Another asthmatic here, as is DD - we're not taking her nebulizer on board, we *knock on wood* have not had to use it for about a year, her "puffer" works ok...and I figured the med. center would have that, it's very basic.
