I've never had a mouse go too fast. I usually have them get sketchy. Then it's time to take it apart and get the fuzz out.

If you have a roller ball mouse, then do what Pin Wizard said & clean it out. Otherwise, try going to your control panel (Start / Settings / Control Panel) and look for your mouse application there. You can manage your settings there.

I think this is probably what I need to do because there is no "roller".. I'll see if I can find it in my control panel - LOL..
