Went over and opened the blinds at about 8:30 this morning and there were 15 HUGE turkeys walking right up the center of the road!!

Dang! If I had ever learned how to hunt, I could have had a free turkey!

We have a flock of about a dozen wild turkeys that inhabits our land.

the office my DH works in has forest land on his side. Some days he gets to watch the turkeys when they come out. One day he watched as one attacked a co-workers car! He always comes home and tells me about that days entertainment!

I ran out to take a picture, but they moved pretty quickly when they heard me.. (I "think" I got at least a few of them in the shot..) Do they tend to get nasty if they feel threatened?
