Thanks so much for posting this great offer! But now I'm freaking out a bit! I just bought 4 - 4 day PH (3 plus 1 day free) for $260, great price in and of itself, but now I'm being all paranoid that I wasn't signed to Ebates! I just joined Ebates tonight and they accepted my PW and all, but I had logged out to do something else and I SWEAR that I logged back in before clicking on the Orbitz offer, but until I see some activity on my record, I will be freaking out!! So from reading these posts, that takes a couple of days, so I'll just have to wait it out. But this is "typical me", getting all nutty for no reason. Hope I'm right! Thanks again for the heads up on Ebates! I've seen the commercials, but never thought of signing up.

If you were able to go to orbitz from the ebates page, you were signed in.

I am in the same boat. We can freak out together. Go to Ebates and check your 'Shopping Trips'. Also, I think the payment has to be processed. Mine is 'Pending' on my CC site, so I'm thinking Mon it will post.

I think I'm ok!! The previous poster suggested I check my "shopping trips", then I got an email last night from Ebates about "being on my way to a fat check" (or something like that) and it listed my "shopping trip" with Orbitz! Relief! I'll check again in a couple of days and hopefully it will be there. Thx all for your support! LOL!

I had shared this deal on redflagdeals forum, giving credit as to how I found the deal on the DISboards, and one poster there has some questions about other activities, I am wondering if any of you have answers for them? If so, you can post them here and I will copy and repost over there. This is what was said, and I apologize it strays a bit from the Park Hopper thread, but still has to do with ebates and orbitz. I'm thinking of using this for either:
Michael Jackson ONE (there doesn't seem to be another way to get a discount); or
Grand Canyon South Rim Tour


I'm trying to compare the Orbitz + eBates prices to just booking separately on my own. However, it's not completely obvious to me. For example:

For Michael Jackson ONE:
there are very few price options;
the seating chart doesn't show the Orbitz ticket categories; and
there are no seat #'s attached to the ticket you're buying

As a result, I'm nervous about spending money on tickets from Orbitz when I can't compare it to tickets that I buy directly from the Mandalay Bay Box Office.

For Grand Canyon South Rim Tour
it does not identify the tour operator; and
there's not explanation of when the helicopter tour takes place.


As a result, I can't look up the tour operator on TripAdvisor, confirm the value of the deal, ask more questions about the itinerary etc. A quick google search found this site which shows cheaper tours than Orbitz even after the eBates discount http://www.grandcanyontours.com/bussouth.html.

Has anyone else booked shows or tours from Orbitz?

I'm reading the fine print of the meal voucher I just bought on Orbitz. Does anyone know WHERE you redeem it? Do you just take it to the counter at the restaurant (i.e. Goofy's Kitchen)?

The email said:

You must print and exchange this voucher at the Group Ticket Window for Meal Coupons valid at specific location on coupon

Since the voucher doesn't specify a restaurant, it doesn't have a "specific location".

I'm just trying to make sure I don't run around needlessly...I think this sounds like I take it to the restaurant, right? I have a "premium character meal" which includes Ariel's Grotto or Goofy's Kitchen.

Can someone explain a few things to me? Do they mail the tickets right away or do we pick them up at the ticket booths at DL?

We are planning a trip in Nov so if I buy now and our dates change and we decide to go in Dec or Oct can we change the ticket dates or can they be used whenever?

I'm thinking if its a pick up situation instead of mailed tickets that could cause a problem on when they get used.

Its just that Nov is a long time from now and I would worry about not getting to use them.

This is a fabulous deal! And I'd love to take advantage of it.

I bought two no expiration Disney world tickets on Friday and still haven't seen the cash back yet..
I read other posts which someone bought on Friday and already got cash back info on Saturday.

Hello, this is not a stupid question. The term cashback can mean many different things. It's what DiscoverCard uses as well. This explains is a little bit more http://thecreativealternative.com/ebates-cashback-online-purchases/ Also be aware that you can use Ebates for many other stores as well, BUT be sure to check other popular cashback sites before buying such as shopathome and your own credit card offers. My Chase and Discover cards have great cashback. The Orbitz deal right now on Ebates is the best percentage for Disney tickets however.

If you don't get your cashback you can find your tracking tickets on their site. Sometimes they will even e-mail you a reminder if you clicked through them and you didn't buy anything, just to check if you bought anything. They do this because they make money and then pass a portion on to you. They have always fixed any mistakes in the past for me. I've been using them for more than 3 years and earned a ton. But I split among many cashback sites to get the best amounts.

oh, by the way, sometimes they offer even better specials. Right now I have an e-mail from them if I buy $50 or more from Ebates I get an extra $10 bonus, so I may buy after all!

I clicked the orbitz link on ebates. I hope I did that right.

I also ordered vouchers for Goofy's Kithcen dinner. We are also doing brunch but I didn't order tickets for that yet. Is there any way to know how much brunch will be in 2 1/2 weeks? I know that it usually increases during spring break. Is it possible that $45 will be over paying even with the 20% rebate?

I'm in the same boat, but I think not much gets processed over the weekend. Orbitz need to have the $$ from your CC, then Ebates gets notified, and you get the cashback notification.

Right now on my CC site, the Orbitz transactions are showing 'Pending' - probably yours too. Monday / Tuesday will probably have a lot of happy people on this board

I had meal vouchers when we went in 2010 and I turned them in at the ticket booth at the main entrance. They took my voucher and gave me meal tickets. I would assume this is the same.
