2 year old on Barnstormer too much??

My daughter rode it when she had just turned three. She was a little leery at first, but ended up loving it. It's no major thrill ride by any means, but it is a little jerky and you do get slung on a little bit of it. Not much at all though. I think it's the perfect beginner's roller coaster.

Our 2 year old loved it! I was worried but she thought it was great. She wanted to go on it though. Let us know how it goes for you!

My two-year old loved it last year, and he was scared of everything, lol! He was very nervous on Pooh and Peter Pan, and won't even ride Nemo or Figment at all, but Barnstormer was a hit

My 2 year old liked it, my 4 year old hated it. Different kids react differently. It's definitely safe for anyone who makes the height requirement.

I took my 2 year old on it and she absolutely loved it! That was all she wanted to do afterwards. She likes thrill rides, though. She just met the height requirement for Tower of Terror when she was 3 and she rode it 3 times in one day. We would have done more but we didn't want to stand in line that long.

I just looked up the speeds for a couple of the coasters in WDW

According to wikipedia:
Barnstormer - speed 25 mph ~1 min
Splash Mountain - speed 40 mph ~10.5 min
Big Thunder Mountain - speed 35 mph ~3.5 min

So you can see that Barnstormer is relatively slower and darn quick.

When my grand daughter was 3, she watched and could hear everyone having fun, so she did not hesitate to ride. She liked it, but was ready to go onto the next ride. This year she really wants to ride Splash Mountain - her sisters favorite

My son hated it at 2 but loved it the next year. Just depends on your child. I would try it. But don't make this your 1st ride of the day.
