We aren't going for a year and a half, thinking about 2 weeks AFTER Easter - thinks the crowds will be manageable then? In 2018- Easter is April 1st and Passover ends April 8th, we are thinking of going April 17th - any and all opinions welcome :) Thanks in advance!

Oh that's wonderful to hear :) and love your name, my daughter's middle name is Aleisa, very close spelling to yours but pronounced the same :) thanks again for replying! I really appreciate it!

Last year I arrived a full week after Easter and it was a low crowd time even with Flower and Garden in Epcot. I recall being the only person in the enclosed butterfly garden.

We didn't have a problem booking last minute Dining reservations or with "day of" FPs. You should have an enjoyable visit! :)

That week in April is a big vacation week for us in the Northeast. I went this year and found it much busier than I was expecting. It seems everyone I talked to was from ME, MA OR CT!

This year Easter was March 27? and we went April 8th or 9th (forgot which day) so it's 2 weeks after Easter. We followed easyWDW suggested days and did rope drop for all the parks including 2 days at Universal and we did all the rides we wanted to do in all the parks. We did CS not to waste time at the TS and I recently did count of all the rides we did in each park and I was really surprised how many rides we did. Of course my feet was killing me and we were all tired but realizing we did all the rides we wanted, it was worth the pain. Of course when I came back home, I told everyone it was NOT vacation at all and I would never go back again. Never say never because it looks like we'll be going again this November. This time since we did all the rides, we are doing more of "sightseeing" and "food tours" by having 2 ADRs a day!

Thank you. I forgot to mention, we statyed at Pop, and first part of the week was nice and peaceful getting meals and getting on the resort buses. I noticed on our last 3 days (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), there were alot of teenagers at Pop so it took long time getting meals and resort buses were very crowded.

If you have choice of when to go, do research to see if there's going to be any kind of competition, any special tours, etc before deciding on final dates. We really didn't have choice because my son was running Star Wars 1/2 marathon so we had to be at the WDW at the time.

Thanks for that input Alice777 - yeah I had thought if they had Star Wars Marathons I would avoid DHS around those dates...I am an obsessive planner so I'll make sure to keep your tips in mind. Thank you again!
