2 way radios

We purchased the 2 x way radios from wallmart @ 3 x weeks ago at the price $14.98 each - much cheaper than in the UK.
Yes you do pick up other people but for a quick message to your other members of the family (ie. "where are you mum?") we found they worked fine - certainly not worth spending a fortune on posh one's !

Remember,

You can't use the US ones over here and vice versa - they are on different frequencies and interfere with emergency channels.

They are about the same size as a mobile phone.
They weigh 5oz with the batteries in (I've just put it on the kitchen scales!)
They also have a clip on the back which you can clip to your belt in order to wear them.
To be honest - we didn't use them that much which is why I wouldn't recommend spending a fortune on a set.
I didn't know that they were not legal in this country - oops! - better stop using them!
