2 quick DVC questions

If I rent points from an owner, will we be able to pool hop? I'm thinking of renting points at BWV July 5-8.

Are there blackout dates when pool hopping isn't allowed?

Pool hopping is usually (can't think of when it hasn't been) blacked out for the 4th of July time.

I was afraid of that.

Oh well, BCV is just 10 points more than BWV. Now to see if I can find points for those dates.

If it's any consolation you wouldn't have been able to hop to SAB anyway. It's not included in the hopping perk.

DVC perks are for DVC members staying on points at DVC resorts. Guests of DVC members staying with the members may be eligible for DVC perks. Non-members paying members for the use of their points are not eligible for DVC perks.
