1. Where are each of the onsite timeshare units located? I've seen the BWV location.Does the location affect the price/point?
2. How much are the annual dues and how is that number determined?
I'm expecting a bit of a windfall and am seriously considering purchase. The only way I'll do this is a lump sum payment,I think. Does anyone finance?
My 12 yo DD,her best friend and I are going for a week @ Thanksgiving and it will cost over 8,000-this is what has me wondering about a timeshare as it seems more economical. We've been to WDW every May for the past 7 years. The timeshare just seems to make sense.

Are figured by upkeep costs of the resorts mostly. I don't know the exact figures, but the question comes up regularly. You may want to use the search link above and type in dues.

I guess you would consider Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge on site also. Wilderness Lodge has their boat to the Magic Kingdom. I don't know exactly how they figure MF's, but it does seem that the smaller resorts are higher. You can find much of the info at DVC FAQ's on the DVC Discussion Forum.
If you are going to spend $8,000 on this trip and you go every year, it sounds like DVC might be for you!
Good luck in your decision! Have a great trip! :wave2:

Call the timeshare store (DVC Resales number at the top) and they will gladly give you the current dues for each resort. Be sure to visit as many as possible before making your choice and buy where you most want to stay, even if it means resale.

Why would someone call the timeshare store to get the DVC dues cost when you could easly get it from DVC???????
