The first is when is the park typically decorated for the fall/Halloween season?
When is the first MNSSHP of the season usually

Decorated from late August to early November, first party first week of September.

Decorations usually go up a few days before the first party. People are speculating that the first party might start as early as Aug. 25th because the MK closes at 7pm that night.

It starts switching over roughly the week leading up to labor day weekend but not uncommon to be a little earlier.

When is the first MNSSHP of the season usually

Just after labor day/early sept but there have been years where it's mid sept. Also to note this is the first year that epcot f&w starts in august instead of mid sept so MNSSHP could be shifting earlier as well (or later)..

Basically wait until they announce to make plans if your thinking of coming down before middle of september.
