Since we put our wedding on hold last year I have lost some of the emails I had from Joe, and since we're not ready to contract yet, I don't want to bother him. But I have a few pricing questions.
1. I was given a price before for having a bus pick up guests from one hotel and bringing them back after. It was a much cheaper price and you pretty much paid by the stop, not hour. But you were limited to only the scheduled stops. Does anyone know what that price is for the first 2, and then for an extra?
2. I am having my ceremony at France in Epcot. Does anyone have a picture of what the chairs look like? And what are my chair options (with prices maybe)?
3. I also have a aisle runner from before planning a DFTW. How much would they charge me to set that up?
4. I want my reception at the Living Seas. How many tables are there? And is the older Navy Blue linens available, or is it an extra charge?
5. What were you charged the 20% on?

I am trying to draw up a budget so to see if we can afford to have it sooner or put it off even more. Ok so I lied it's a few questions. LOL

Thank You!!

the 20% is on everything apart from entertainment is waht i was quoted on my budget, sorry cant help with the rest. I have a bus that is picking us up from gf and taking us to epcot and then doing the same on the way back and its around $400 with tax and service charge on top

Black plastic chairs are the standard for an epcot ceremony

upgrades-white wooden chairs are $5 each and $180 delivery fee
I think they also will do fabric chair covers about $8.50 each

hth

yes chair covers with sash are $8.50 each we have them for ours

Pricing sounds about right to me

I can afford to get the white wooden!:thumbsup2 That is what I was hoping to find out.

Thank You guys for you quick answers! Does anyone else know anything on the aisle runner, bus and living seas?

I don't know how many people you're having, but it actually worked out cheaper for us to do chair covers than to have them bring in the wooden chairs (which I preferred) because of that dang delivery fee! But maybe we were quoted a higher fee....

Also, we were dinged the 20% service charge on our sound systems in Epcot and at the reception. They never explained that to my satisfaction...

I would imagine they'd have no problem using your aisle runner but may charge you a set-up fee.

The bus rates I am aware of (for 2007) are:

One-way bus (i.e. 2 stops or fewer): $390 for first 5 hours, $80 for each additional

Charter bus: $447 for first 5 hours, $90 for each additional.

Dunno about Living Seas - maybe Caryn can help!

Is there 20% on the bus also?
Now like if we rent the chairs, there's 20% on the chairs and then on the $180, or how does it work? It sounds funny to have to pay a delivery fee and a service charge.

We had no service charge on the bus, and no service charges on anything from Disney Floral - including chair covers, rental pieces. Instead of service charges, Floral hits you with move, set and delivery fees!

I think a good rule of thumb is as stated above: the only things that get service charges are food & beverages and audio packages. Maybe someone who had Mickey and Minne or a Disney DJ can tell us if those entertainment options incurred service fees too! :thumbsup2

It's $80 for each additional hour.

What I was told is that a 1-way bus can do up to two stops for pickup and 2 stops for delivery and still count as a 1-way bus. So I assume any more stops than that bumps you into charter territory.
