2 hr waiting for Hary Poter today! It is insane!

I had assumed that picture-taking inside FJ was not permitted. Were you taking no-flash photos? I have a cheap digital camera myself, and without the flash it's all over, especially in such a dark environment as the castle.

People take tons of flash pictures in the queue. Not on the ride though.

I'm here right now. I'm not staying on property but was the first one at the gate for the 9am opening. Walked on to FJ but by the time I got off it the line was out of the castle. I think the posted wait time was 50 minutes at 10:00 am. I rode both sides of Dragon Challenge with 5 minute waits but by 10:30 it was at a 25 minute wait. By 11:00 that area was feeling very crowded. I left that and went over to Spiderman. It had a 35 minute wait time. I came over to the Studios. Shrek was showing 25 minutes. I waited in line for The Mummy for 15-20 minutes walked on to MIB via the Singles line and am now in a 25-30 line for The Simpsons. Lots of tour groups in the park today.

This experience sounds very similar to what I had in September. Nearly identical wait times. If you are first through the gate when it opens get over to the FJ as soon as possible and you shouldn't have a wait. And remember DO NOT TAKE A BAG WITH YOU, IT WILL SLOW YOU DOWN! LOL

We ended up going on Friday instead of on Wednesday. My brother rode FJ three times going on the single rider line.

We were in WWOHP around 2-5 and the wait times that day for FJ ranged from 30-90 minutes (but my brother walked right on with single rider). Wait time for Hippogryph ride was 15-20 minutes, and Dueling Dragons was 15 minutes. Waits to get into Ollivanders were about an hour, and to get into Dervish and Banges and Zonko's were about 15 minutes.

It was crowded but manageable. There were no waits to get into the area, TM said that this week and next week were going to be slow. Lines for the shops were too long so I bought my Hufflepuff scarf at the trading post store at the beginning of IOA.

And yes, you can take pictures (with flash) inside of the castle, just not on the ride.

As for the rest of the park, the lines were about 10-30 minutes. Single-rider lines are the best way to get a lot done in Universal I think, my brother rode Spiderman (35 min wait) 5 times in one day. Hulk had another 30 minute line, and the Seuss rides had 10-15 minute lines. Sometimes it would say 10 minutes and we would walk on.

Hope that helps!

We were there on Tuesday and FJ was a 70 minute wait for most of the afternoon. At one point the line was all the way over to the Hogsmeade entrance near the Three Broomsticks. We had never been on it before so we decided to just get in line, but when we got up to the lockers it was just a big chaotic mess so we left the line. The other rides in the area had very short waits though.
We decided to go back to FJ about an hour before the park closed and the wait time was down to 30 minutes, but it was definitely less than that. We walked up to the end of the line in the greenhouse area, and it moved pretty quickly from there.

At the ESPN Club yesterday, the host was telling us about how he was there on Thursday and FJ only had a 10 minute wait and both Flight of the Hippogriff and Dragon Challenge had 30 minute waits.
