The one that was just here on Saturday was the Shadow Cast.

The one that was just here on Saturday was the Shadow Cast.

Yup thats how we do rocky all over haha
In your area the names are
Wild and Untamed things or WUT(my all time fav cast!)
Midnight Insanity or MI(Well known as best cast in the country)
Dark Refrain
Absolute Pleasure(I believe this is the one in you mentioned)
Sins o the flesh

and a few more Im not remembering

I will have to call my friend Lacey,to ask her she will know. I asked my other friend (He actually looks like James now that I think of it!) and that is what he said (shadow cast). haha What a lame-o! I went to part of it on saturday but couldn't stay long since it was my friends birthday and well, she isn't into it. So I had to bail out and head to the bars instead.. I Know I know so hard to leave one great thing for another great thing. haha

That is awesome!
If your in the parks beforehand you should have them make her a pair that say colombia(dont mention its for a rocky costume or they wont do it)

If you like I could private message you some websites with instructions on how to put together the costume very accurately and cheaply:)

We are about 450 miles from the park and I don't see a trip before Halloween, but she has a hat without a name so it will work. How funny that they won't make a hat for you if they know it is for Rocky Horror.

I bought her some mens jammies so she should be fine. Thanks though. And it looks pretty good, I will post a picture of her when I can.

That is grandtastic! You should check it out. I bet she would love to go see it there. Its awesome.

We will have to go see it. She has only seen it on DVD. She loves watching it and listening to the CD.

Im sure Brittany will be loving all her new DIS friends! haha:thumbsup2.

You may think Chris is more adorable than you, but just remember that you are the Fabulous Disney Ninja! :earsboy: (why there is no ninja smile face thing is beyond me!! :confused3 )

Oh the Super Fly Chris blushes? :cool2: No way he is too cool for that. haha

This darn crush I got keeps growing!:lovestruc

Everyone needs to go up to Brittany and be like "You're James and Chris's friend!" But you can't say where you know her from. I'm sure she will start to wonder
Great hub picture! :)

You know what is weird? How people "picture" their on-line comrades, much like one would do when reading a novel. I mean, I obviously know nothing about you outside of your love of Disney but I can only picture you as the Crimanologist! Everything else just doesn't fit who I've made you in my mind. I think it's safe to say that this view of you comes from your narration of your trip, though. :rotfl:

And for the record, you shouldn't sell yourself short. You're just as adorable as Chris. For serious. :goodvibes

I agree. It is very diffacult to imagine what anyone on here is like in real life. However... people have referred to me as a "coloful character"

They need a banana in a straight jacket smiley.

If only I had the pictures scanned... Is Chris originally from Stockton CA? If so, they're definitely related.

Note to anyone wanting to wear vinyl pants...baby powder on the legs (and elsewhere). Seriously.

Gawd those were so mid-90s....

Chris is actually an East Coaster originally, like myself. He is from NY, and I am from MA.

Don't feel bad sweetheart... I was wearing vinyl pants not to long ago.

I think the next trip that Chris and James make should incorporate a picture of Chris in vinyl pants, as a DISer joke. If he can get them in lime green, all the better! :lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

I personally want to go to next years Trick or treat party as a lime green ninja.

Uh oh James I think you have planted the seed to "Wheres Brittany" or "Find the hidden Brittany" I say we should all scout her out on our next trips and have a photo gallery just for the Ninja! haha

AND Heck to the yes Rock stars and Ninjas always get the hotness! Super Fly Rock stars and Fabulous Ninjas (I mean!)

I'm going to get some confused messages from Brittany.

OMWord...I totally Second this motion! Heck if you can't find them spray paint them lime green!

I'm sure that we can find a lime green pair. With our connections in the rocky scene, and our knowledge of the seedy stores of AZ that comes from doing Rocky Horror for years... we can find em.

She and Albort will have to form a Dis support group. :)

I would love to get brittany on the DIS. I think she would have so much fun.

I don't post much. I really am just a huge lurker. I have to say that this IS MY FAVORITE TRIP REPORT EVER!!!! All of the pictures have been amazing (yes, especially the hub pic). I actually feel like I am touring the park with you. My favorite pics are the food porn. I already have a huge list must eat foods. I am completely loaded up with PS's for my trip. Keep up the good work!

I'm so glad that you are enjoying the TR. I will have more up shortly. I'm sincerely flattered that this is your favorite TR. I have more great food porn coming, so sit tight.

I guess I could settle for the charming, radical, superfly chris:thumbsup2

Settle? :lmao:

Rocky Horror is the best.

I agree that RHPS is pretty cool, seeing as how I was involved with it in one form or another for 10 years of my life, but I am still a little disturbed with the fact that Chris and myself managed to bring it on the the DISboards. Something about that just doesn't feel right. I keep having frightening images of Mickey in fishnet stockings.

Wouldn't Mickey and Minnie be Brad and Janet though? Who would be Frank?

Well, I drive through on the way to the beach. My bad. But, now I know we will be going to go see it. My 16 year old daughter is mad about the movie. She is dressing as Columbia with the jammies and the Mickey ears for Halloween. She has a Rocky Horror tshirt that she wears to school and there are so few people that know what it is, but she has made friends because of it too.

I know the feeling... that's how it was for me when I was 16 and RHPS obsessed. My friends just were not that interested.

Anyhoo... I will be working on part 12 next!

Ursula!!! :lmao:

Well...the make-up and voice fit.

Cruella DeVil?

Haha, yeah shadowcast is the style of performance. The movie plays behind the stage while actors shadow it as accurately as possible, and it usually involves some sort of audience participation.

I don't think its that weird, you know as well as I do how much rocky folk enjoy disney, I think its only natural that it works vice versa

and now you've started a dangerous conversation, I have feeling well have the whole movie casted out before this tr ends.

Maybe we should re-join cast and pitch disney night, haha

Meine Damen und Herren, Mesdames et Messieurs, Ladies and Gentlemen! Guden Abend, bon soir, good evening! We geht's? Comment ca va? Do you feel good? I bet you do!

So enough with show tune shenanigans already... sit back, relax and enjoy

PART 12

(insert dramatic sound effect here)

Tuesday Sept 29th

We started off the morning with the alarm going off at 6:30. I hopped in the shower while my mother and Chris stayed in bed. I will admit, that by this point, my body had betrayed me. After popping some pain killers, I hopped into the shower were I proceeded to fall asleep standing up. I spent way to long in the shower and for that reason, it took us longer to get ready and we were late getting to our MM. We took the monorail in, which in hindsight, I will never do again when I am in a hurry to get in the parks.

You may not be able to tell, but I was screaming inside.

100_2763.jpg

We had enough time for a quick ride on Peter Pan before our 9:10 PS for Minnie and Friends.

I wanted a shot of mermaid lagoon. Chris managed to snag on on the way out.

100_2764.jpg

Peter Pan is by far my favorite Fantasyland ride..

We decided that it would be best if my mother and I headed to the Plaza Inn, while Chris waited by SMGG for the FP's to start up.

While we waited at the Plaza Inn, I saw an interesting sight... It seems that they were filming for a commercial.
100_2765.jpg

100_2766.jpg

I did not see much, but I did see a little girl in a Cinderella dress.

I have never been allowed on Main Street for rope drop so I thought this was absolutely fascinating.

100_2767.jpg

There is something disturbingly cattle-like in all of it.
100_2769.jpg

I just like this picture....
100_2770.jpg

As soon as 9 hit, the rope dropped and the crowds poured in. We noticed that it was mostly families with smaller children though for some reason.

Once Chris got our fastpasses he came to meet us at the Plaza Inn. Once we were finally seated, we made our way to the buffet.

100_2771.jpg

100_2772.jpg

Really tasty biscuits and gravy!

100_2773.jpg

100_2774.jpg

100_2775.jpg

All of the food was amazing except for the eggs which Chris advised that they tasted funny. I stayed away. I love the sausage at the DLR breakfast buffets. It is so yummy dipped in syrup.

We saw lot's of interesting Characters. I would definitely choose Minnie's again just for the Character pictures. The food was great, but I enjoy Goofy's selection better.

First we met up with Rafikki.
100_2776.jpg

100_2778.jpg

Then a salty sea dog washed ashore.

100_2779.jpg

100_2780.jpg

Hook actually was kind of hovering around our area for a while with nothing to do, so as soon as I mentioned a strange ticking sound, he ran off.

Not long after, this cuddly fellow came bouncing up to our table!

100_2784.jpg

100_2785.jpg

Just as we were finishing up with Tigger, our fabulous hostess came strolling out of the kitchen...

100_2786.jpg

100_2787.jpg

Everbody loves POOH! Winnie that is...
100_2788.jpg

100_2789.jpg

The fairy godmother stopped by, but she didn't leave me with a gorgeous gown or a pumpkin carriage. Cheap witch. HA! You thought I was gonna say something else!
100_2791.jpg

100_2792.jpg

As we were preparing to leave, Max came by our table. We figured that we should probably get a pic with him too. ( I can remember seeing the Goofy Movie when it came out in theaters)

100_2793.jpg

After breakfast, we had one spot in mind that we had not visited at all on this trip. Toon Town!

End of part 12!

THANKS FOR READING AND PLEASE LEAVE ME LOTS OF COMMENT LOVE!

STAY TUNED FOR PART 13

SAME DIS TIME! SAME DIS CHANNEL!

Just kidding... I will probably have something up tomorrow night.

The picture of you, your mom, and Tigger is really cute!

I've always wanted to go Minnie's, but no one wants to go with me. :sad1: Oh well, one day I'll have kids and I'll force them to go.

Love all the pictures. Can't wait for the next update. :goodvibes

I too think the Tigger picture is really cute. You should frame that one! Also, Minnie is getting a little fresh with the adorable one *OH* Super Fly Chris! Makin me a little jealous there. hahaha Her hand placement on that chair look just a little to much for Disney, you know. :))

It was a quicky but great quicky nontheless!

Yep, Im not one to know. Ive been twice with Lacey. She is the expert. I put the call in to find all the info and goods for ya. She goes every time they come to The Phoenix. I guess my dear friend Wess (whom I went with Saturday) isn't so much the expert he thought, eh. :lmao: silly boys!

"You may not be able to tell, but I was screaming inside."

Oh no, I can tell. I had the same expression on when we stayed at DLH and took the monorail in one morning.

What I find interesting about that ropedrop, and it was the same with the DCA ropedrop at GRR, is that the people at the very very front will stand still even with the rope gone. And the people 3 rows back have NO idea that the rope is gone.

Whew!! I just sat here this evening, and read the entire PTR and TR! Amazing job, it looks like you all had alot of fun. I am trying to get my mom to come to DLR on our next trip in 2011, so I can relate the need to be there with your mom. Looking forward to the finale to this report, soooo exciting.

I love that you kind of have Mickey bunny ears here.

Lovin' your TR, I'm tuned in!

It's a bit like the FGM is being cheeky, isn't it? Like she waved her magic wand to have some fun with the picture. I love it! :lovestruc

Where were you standing for the rope drop pics, James? Outside of the Plaza Inn? It'd be so cool for someone to get video of the stampede! :upsidedow

well I'm all caught up .... only to find that it is coming to an end soon !! SO. SAD. :guilty:

You and Chris are adorable.... yes Rock Star Ninja's can be adorable too !! ;)

LOVE LOVE the hub pic.....priceless !!

BIG HUGS to you, I'm sorry your family is having health issues right now. PLease keep us informed on how things are going.

And I will be sure to be on the look out for Brittney on my Dec trip, and if we find her I will post a pic for you guys !!

That is a lot of reading to do in one night! Wow, I am glad you are enjoying the TR. I should have at least 3 more parts before the finale though... lot's of food porn from Goofy's on the last day.

I love that you kind of have Mickey bunny ears here.

Lovin' your TR, I'm tuned in!

Totally not intentional... but interesting nontheless.

I was actually standing right in front of the Plaza inn when I took those pics. It was crazy... as soon as they said go, those people took off running.

well I'm all caught up .... only to find that it is coming to an end soon !! SO. SAD. :guilty:
