I just got off the phone to book my Holiday Tour on Dec. 9th. It now starts at 4:45, and I was told the parade happens in the middle of the tour (5:30) instead of at the end. I was also told the tour is about 3 hours, instead of the 2 1/2 hours I'd previously heard. Just FYI in case anyone else needs to readjust their times and dinner plans.

While on the phone I asked about Fantasmic! on Dec. 11th, and he said it will be at 9 and 10:30. 10:30 isn't listed on the schedule yet, but I'm sure they wouldn't be selling seating for it if it's not going to happen. :yay:

Ooops, never mind about the Holiday Tour. The guy who booked me just called back and said never mind, it's at 2:30 (not 4:45). So now I'm taking the tour on the 10th as originally planned, with no dinner plans disrupted.

Thank you for the info about Fantasmic--I know that more shows means Disney anticipates bigger crowds, but I'm still excited that it will be easier for me to catch it without a really long wait, than if there was just one show. :)

When there are 2 Fantasmic showings, I wonder which one is normally less crowded? Early or late?

Yup, people will start staking out seats for the 9PM show by 6, sometimes earlier. On busy days, it can be hard to find a place to stand or sit.

OTOH, to get into the 10:30 show, just get there just before the 9PM show ends - say, around 9:20 or 9:30. If there are fireworks, a lot of the early people will hang around to watch them. Once they're over, the whole area starts to clear out, and you should have your pick of seats with less than an hour wait. Much, much easier than trying to find a seat for the early show.

this is totally cool for me! With only one show on the website I was contemplating shelling out for the reserved seating, but now I can save that $$ for a cool micky watch. ;):goodvibes

YES! If you want to be in the front row or close to it (in the place where you sit on the ground), do it! You can even start slipping forward as fireworks start (or I could in June), as a lot of folks start clearing out even after the show ends. Plus you kind of get to see the finale of Fantasmic twice. Very nice!

Did you get a call from DL regarding the LATEST time changes to the tour? It seems the tour is now at 3pm, followed by a 5:30pm parade....I got a call this weekend regarding the new changes...

Also, what happens if your park hopping between DCA/DL on a crowded day at the parks?...since I'm seeing F! on the Saturday after Turkey Day, is there a chance I might be 'locked-out' of DL due to high crowds? I'm going to DCA in the morning (10-2pm), then I'm doing lunch in DTD...I have dessert package tixs for the 10:30pm showing of F!...so I'll probably go to DL around 3pm...should I need to worry?
