2 families coordinating FP+

Hello- traveling to WDW 10/1-10/8. We are a family of 4 traveling with another family of 4. We are staying at the same resort (different reservations and MDEs). We want to try to coordinate FPs together. I booked our ADRs for 8 under my MDE but obviously can't do that with FP. I've considered it and can't think of an easy way to do this. Ideas or suggestions?

Go to "My Family and Friends" under MDE. It gives you the option to add guest. Your friend will have to go on their MDE and confirm that you are allowed to share their plans.

How do the ADRs work? If there are two separate reservations, does only one need to make the reservation, or do both? I'm wondering how the reservation gets "linked" to both profiles, so that when the family who DIDN'T initiate the reservation, they are still on the list who is OK to get into the park early (for a pre-rope drop reservation)?

I just booked FPs for 10 people. As long as you have everyone in your friends and family and they are all linked with an email account you can make all of the FPs.

Not sure what you mean about 2 separate reservations. For ADRs - it is the same as for FPs - as long as you have all the people in your friends and family - if you link with an email account - whatever ADRs you make for them will appear on their account.

I thought the same thing back when it all started. But it is pretty simple. Just make sure you are all linked in advance and then you are fine.

Aside from adding each other as Friends, do we link accounts it will that screw things up from a billing standpoint?
