No problems for me sending to email so far.System is sending my verification code to my email which is taking forever. Is there a way to make the system send the code to my phone instead? Would be so much faster.
Assuming you already had the correct email in your DVC Profile, have you tried updating your profile in My Disney Experience ? Do that via the website. (So far, I am not being asked to do 2FA for MDE). If that doesn't work, you will probably have to call MS.grrr...it is sending the authentication code to a deactivated email.....why isn't it using the same email as it sends my reservations to?

OneID account and DVC email are not the same thing. If you go into DVC > Profile > Contact Information, there is an 'Email' field there which is where your reservation emails go. THIS IS NOT THE SAME as your global "Disney OneID" account/email. SIGN IN uses OneID, not the email address you have on your DVC Profile 'Contact Information' details (though many people may have the same email address specified on the DVC Profile Contact Information page as they are using on the Disney OneID 'Account' portal).
Also, found some helpful information in the FAQ on the DVC site.

'OneID' account and 'DVC' account are not one and the same. When you SIGN IN to any Disney site (WDW, DLR, DVC, DCL, etc...) you are signing in with a Disney "OneID" account. The email you have for your Disney OneID account may not be the same email you have specified on the DVC member web site 'Profile > Contact Information' page where your reservation emails get sent to.
This is failure #1OneID account and DVC email are not the same thing.
Failure # 2Doing it every time logging in is a joke. Let us remember the device please!!!
OK - just talked with MS & you need to go into MDE to verify your cell # there as well. Once I did that, it now gives me the option to choose b/w cell & email. So bottom line, check your cell # on MDE
My only gripe is most websites recognize that I'm using the same device as always to log in & can bypass it.I don’t really think this is a big deal. Lots of websites do this already.
Maybe this is something DVC is trying to cut down on with this "new enhancement".As a website I log into several times a day, even an hour, this is driving me crazy.
I know. The nerve of them! The second Disney does something that banks, credit card companies, payroll providers, the IRs, and many insurers require for website login, it's all of a sudden a bad thing and "typical" Disney...
