I am hoping to get a chance to run down to visit a friend who lives really close to Disney. I can stay with her family for free, and eat cheaply while there. I will only have enough money and time for 2 days in the parks.
I'm wondering if doing AK and HS the first day and MK and EC the second day are doable. I will be by myself, so I won't have to wait on anyone else, plus I won't have any ADA's. I can stop to eat what and when I want, and it shouldn't take up too much time. (I generally eat at odd times anyway, so this will be to my benefit.)
I'm more of a character hunter than a rider. I do like the shows, but most of the rides that I was interested in I've already been on and won't mind skipping this trip.
So do you think this is a good idea or no? What are some tips and strategies you have to help (other than rope drop to close LOL) My main goal is to meet as many characters as I can and see the shows, especially those I missed last visit. And I'm not as worried about meeting Anna and Elsa, unless the lines are short, because I met them last time as well. Same with riding the Mine Train. Great ride, but I did it last time, so if I miss it this time, not the end of the world.
Oh and I'll be going in later April, so hopefully crowds won't be as heavy as, say, summer season. Past Easter/Spring Break time and before schools start letting out.
