2 contracts into 1

We really like the Beach Club, but we cannot find the amount of points that we want with the use year that we want. If we purchase 2 contracts at the same resort with the same use year, can Disney combine those into one contract, or does it even matter?

They won't legally be "one contract" as they can still be sold separately, but they can be under the same membership numner, and effectively act as a single contract for banking, borrowing and reservation purposes. Make sure to request that DVC do that before DVC gets the resale paperwork, as it usually isn't an automatic thing.

you can also accomplish the same thing if you buy a resale BCV contract and add-on another BCV contract directly from DVC.

buying direct can be a good deal for adding-on smaller contracts since you don't pay closing costs. (do the math, though, since stated cost per point is usually cheaper for resales.)

you can also add-on EXACTLY the number of points you want (minimum of 25 pts if you're paying cash - but you can add on 26 pts or 37 if it suits you - or a minimum of 50 pts if you are financing.)

Okay, so this is in reply to Macosx. We like to vacation in Sept, Oct, and Feb. So, we think an Aug or Sept use year would benefit us. We also want around 300 points for BCV.

We are also contemplating purchasing AK thru Disney for the extra 15 years. Does anyone know if they are still running the same incentive? Also, what is the process when you purchase and finance thru Disney? Do you pay so much down?

We love the Beach Club, but you never know what Disney is going to come out with next and what we are going to like in 10 years.

We have two seperate contracts at OKW with the same use year. They have them listed with the same contract number except the new one has an extension of 01 on it. I.E xxxxxx and xxxxxx.01...smjj
