2 contracts 2 resorts 1 question

I currently have 170 at wl. I am looking to add 70 more.my use year is oct
I am thinking of adding on at beachclub villas. Because its hard to get reservation there.
Heres the question if I bank some points from my wl to next year when next year rolls around can I use banked points from wl with regular points at bcv to reserve a room at bcv at the 11 month mark?

No, only home resort points can be used at the 11 month window to book a room.

You would have to wait until the 7 month window if you wanted to use any of your VWL points.

You can reserver Beach Club Villa resort with BCV points only, when at the 11 month window. At the 7 month window, the home resort doesn't matter, then you can use your Wilderness Lodge points to book at Beach Club.

But, if you get enough Beach Club points, you should be able to book the difficult to get nights (Sunday through Thursday) and use your WL points to book the weekends, at 7 months out....the weekend nights are easier to get. Just a thought.

Plus you can use banking and borrowing to your advantage on these smaller point contracts at different resorts. So your 70 BVC points become 210 points over the three years.

There are many strategies for this situation. Besides the above, another is to book what you can at 11 months and then add to it at 7 months with the other contract.
