I ordered something Monday the 23rd before the close of business and paid $10.00 for the 2 Business Days Shipping. Shouldn't it be here today? On the website it says 2 Business Days from the day it was shipped, but that could be anytime.

I am used to dealing with Amazon and when I order something and it is in stock (this item was, too) I expect it to show up within a day or two if I have paid for 1 or 2 day shipping. But on the tracking website they still show this item as being delivered by March 30 - next week.

Should I keep checking the door today or just relax and see when I get it??

I would think today or Thursday. I you take it as 2 business days for "travel) then is traveling Tuesday and Wednesday, delivered on Thursday. If it will be delivered in 2 business days then today.

Either way I can't see delivery on Monday.

Can you call the company?

When I worked for an Art supply company, our policy was (for two and one day shipping) that it would ship out the day you ordered it if it was under the time deadline. Our time deadline was 3pm central standard time. So if you put your order through at 4pm central time Monday, it would get shipped out Tuesday and get there Thursday if you did two day shipping..Wednesday if you did one day shipping.

Maybe they have the same sort of thing going on at their business and you were past the deadline? I would suggest calling their customer service department and asking if they have tracking information-they should be able to tell you a window of time when it will be delivered.

Agree with the previous poster. HOWEVER, where is is going to and where is it shipping from? Yesterday there was a huge blizzard somewhere around the upper plains states and weather delays from ice and snow can wreck havoc with shipping schedules if the airplanes can't get into the proper places on time. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Grrr, this is infuriating. I just called and the guy said he didn't have any information about when it would be shipped or from what facility because currently there was a hold on my credit card. My online account shows the charge pending, with nothing standing in the way of it being approved. Why would it take more than 48 hours from the time an online order was placed to get a credit card approval for a company I have done business with in the past (Lenovo)??

So, now I will have to check my credit card and see when the charge is approved, THEN see when it ships, THEN wait two business days after that - and now we are getting close to the weekend, so it might not be here before next Monday, which is the date it is showing.

Totally infuriating. I paid extra for 2 day shipping in order to get the product today - and now I will be out ten bucks (which is not that significant, but if I had known it was going to take its own sweet time I would have just had it shipped standard.)

As I said, INFURIATING.

You need to read their shipping info page. Even with amazon, the fast shipping is ONLY after it leaves their door, and that's ONLY if it leaves their door during business hours on a business day. Even with amazon, if you order something that isn't immediately in stock, or if you order it on a Friday afternoon, that fast shipping only starts to "count" after the business day on/after it leaves the door.

Sounds like you've been lucky with amazon, yay for that!

So it's possible the item you ordered isn't in stock, or takes awhile to package, or their items always take awhile to go through the shipping process.

I know - I am spoiled by Amazon - tell your hubby thanks!

This is a netbook computer and the order says "configured product" which I take to mean it has already been assembled, etc. Maybe not and they are building it from scratch, but it doesn't say that, nor does it tell me anything about how long a product would normally take to be built and shipped.

I am just angry because I was looking forward to having this item today and Amazon did such a great job getting me my new Kindle when it was released one day and at my house the next.
