DH and I just booked today. We're 2 DINKs (double income no kids) and this will be our 3rd Disney cruise; our last one was in 2009. It'll also be our 9th or 10th cruise total depending on how 2012 goes.

I didn't even realize it will be during Mardi Gras. I'm looking forward to celebrating Valentine's Day!

Does anyone else have a Disney Visa? Were you able to get extra onboard credit by using it? Their web site says the cruise must be for 2012 so I wasn't sure if my travel agent would be able to get it for me.

I wrote a detailed blog of our 2009 cruise on Disney Magic. It'll give any first time DCLers an idea of what you can expect!

I booked with Disney directly. I was told that I would receive the onboard Disney Visa credit for both rooms I reserved. She then said it would not allow her to add the credit because it was a 2012 promotion. She stated that if Disney Visa comes out with a promo for 2013, I can add it.

Looks like we will be joining you! This will be our families 3rd Disney Cruise. It will be me (Katy), my husband (Brandon) DS (Logan will be 4) and DS (Emmett will be 2).

Less than a year!

Right now I am focused on planning for our April MR cruise on the Wonder but I am looking forward to start planning for this cruise as soon as I step off the Wonder!

We just got off the Dream and booked again while onboard. We can't wait to go again. We did the FE for the first time and it was pretty exciting. The 4 yr old couldn't wait to check it every 15 minutes(the adults thought it was fun also). Can't wait to celebrate valentines day and an early anniversary(18th) and mardi gras

Hello Everyone! My husband and I just got off a 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the Magic and we booked this cruise with DVC Points while waiting in the airport for our return flight home. This will be our 7th Cruise. I can't wait to see the beautiful Fantasy. I'm so excited and it is one year away. My husband and I always take an Anniversary Cruise (without the kids) during February each year. I love celebrating our Anniversary and Valentine's Day while on a cruise. And now, I can add celebrating Marti Gras too We met too wonderful DISers on our Anniversary Cruise 2 years ago. We hit it off so well that they were on the cruise we just took and they have booked this cruise with us again as well. I can't wait to see both of them again in one year.

Just letting everyone know. We won't be joining you all for this cruise after all. Since I had achieved Gold status I had first shot at the new round of Alaska cruises so I switched over. Have a great cruise everyone.

We just booked this cruise while onboard the Magic last week...have started to make a Valentine cruise with Purplejewel and her DH (couple posts up) an annual event This will be our third Valentine cruise together celebrating romance (and leaving the kids at home so we can concentrate on that). Kids get to go next time!

This will be our "complete the fleet" cruise by sailing on Fantasy, and Disney cruise #15.

Hello! My husband and I booked this cruise in October '11 and I can barely stand the wait! I have been reading all I can [books, blogs, sites] so we are prepared even though I know this will NOT be our last cruise!

Any additional advice will be highly appreciated. Today's research has me on the Fish Extender route...

A bit about us: We are Empty Nest DVCers, however the chicks have come back to roost for a bit so we eagerly look forward to our Disney vacations [Food & Wine Festival Oct 2012!]. This itinerary was specific for Valentines Day AND San Juan as my husband grew up in PR.

Signing in to say we are joining you! If all works out it will by my family, DH, DS (17) and DD (12) plus SIL, BIL, nephew (14) and niece (12) and MIL.

This will be our fourth cruise with one on each ship. We are very excited about going on the Fantasy and that it is a 7 day Eastern (our first). This will be our second Valentine's cruise.

We will definitely be doing joining the FE and look forward to the count down!

Hi Judy, I see that you'll be platinum on this particular sailing! Congrats. We just made Gold and will enjoy the perks of that on our Wonder Feb 12th

We just made Gold status on our last cruise this past February on a Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Magic. You will get to go to the Gold/Platinum captains reception which we really enjoyed. You get to meet the Captain and several of the higher-level cruise staff. They serve free champagne and light snacks. Plus, you get an opportunity to have a picture taken with Captain Mickey which was great because we didn't have to wait in a long line to get the photo taken. Hope you get a chance to attend it. I'm sure you will enjoy it. You will receive new stateroom gifts too. We got a leather notebook and a backpack. Also your booking window opens up sooner for Palo/Remy reservations as well as excursions and spa treatments. Congratulations on achieving Gold status - five more trips and you will be Platinum.

Our newest grand baby was born this week so she was officially added to the reservation. She will be 11 months old when we sail.
