2/9/2008 - Valentine Cruise 7 Night Western - Anyone On The Love Boat ?

What time is everyone planning on getting to the cruise terminal to check in??

We are going to try to be there as early as possible!! 10:30? When do they open up?

I can NOT believe we're only 10 days out - WHOO HOO!!!!:woohoo: Still no cruise docs yet, but they assure me they will come today.
Our girls are getting so anxious... we have a countdown calendar on our refrigerator and they get more and more excited each day they mark off of it. Truth be told ... I think I may be even more excited than them:rolleyes1

Hope you get them soon...sending you some pixiedust:

Same here...I believe they open up around 10.15am ....there is a carpark directly opposite that you can hang about in, if you are there too early (assuming you are arriving by car).

Question for you all ... how long does it take to get from the Orlando airport to the ship? :confused3 We are going to have a limo pick us up on Saturday morning and I was wondering what time we should have him there so we can arrive by about 10:30 or 11?
Thanks!

My hubby (grew up in the Orlando area) says an hour-ish--maybe a little more or less but plan on about an hour.

If anyone is planning on getting there (the cruise terminal) early, we will be hanging out wherever there is a play area for kids (TVs, couches, etc) if anyone would like to meet us. Seems like a lot of us will be there early and we could chat before we board. It's been a couple years since we have cruised so I can't name a specific place, so if anyone has suggestions...

I've been told it takes about an hour to get to the port but with the amount of wine your taking it might take you longer:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

See you soon

We did this last time and I think it took a little over an hour. You should have your pallet of wine delivered sooner! :worship:

You can mail items to your stateroom ahead of time as well. I wonder if people have packed and sent wine that way? You should check the main forum for some info on that if you'd rather not carry it around that morning.

Tony

How about I just have my pallet of wine dropped off at the kids area where you will all be and you can watch it for me!
I actually had considered sending it to our stateroom, but unfortunately, we are still at a gty stateroom, so I don't have a # to send it to. Oh well ... I should be able to handle it!:rolleyes1

We plan on being on the first DCL bus out of the airport, which I think should get us there between 10 and 10:30 am. We will check in and then immediately get the beepers for the kids. I think meeting in the play area is a great idea!!

Doing the DOC Dance:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
DH just called, our documents arrived today! Now, if the packing fairy :wizard: would show up, we'd be good!
