2/5/05 Eastern--anyone booked?

Hi Everyone!

We are booked on this cruise also and are looking forward to cruising with Disney. We've been to DW and enjoyed it in 2001 and know that this will be special also.

We'd also like to meet you. Our family: DH, DW (me), and DS 14; DS 12. We are huge Pirates of the Carribbean fans. We are celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary.

I've been thankful to find this website and thread and we are looking forward to meeting you all on the 5th of February.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find some good DCL hints? ie. what we HAVE to see, do?, what we can't forget to pack, etc?

I was one of the first ones to post and then I dropped off the face of the earth. Part of the reason for that is that we DID adopt-- our newest bundle of joy was born on September 20th and we had exactly 2 days notice that we needed to go to Florida to get him! We were at the hospital when he was born. Our lives have been chaotic since, with a 3 1/2 year old too-- life can get pretty "interesting" around our house!

I don't want to miss out on all the DIS fun, but I have to admit I'm a little apprehensive that I'll be my typical frazzled self and won't be able to finish a sentence during the initial meet on embarkation day. You moms of preschoolers know what I mean!!

So I'll be the gal with a crazy three (almost 4) year old and a 4 month old straggling around the edges of the group trying to act like I'm sane. Hope to meet you there!

Wow! What exciting news on the finalization of the adoption and being there for the birth!! I'll be looking for you.

We haven't told our boys where we're going or which line yet---we'd love to surprise them, however, it is getting increasingly difficult....

My wife and I have DS 9 but are serious consedering adopting a second child.

Well, Gang time is close, Santa is coming with suntan lotion and disney bucks for DH's bar bill. I made my REAS reservation today got everything I wanted

Know I just have tell my DS that I will see him at the end of the week.

Hey all,

I haven't posted recently because I have been travelling. But, now I am starting to complete my planning for the cruise. I just booked our hotel for Friday night in Orlando. Got a free night at the Hampton Inn at MCO using my HiltonHonors points. The ONLY perk when you have to travel for business is getting the freebies to use on your vacations!

I am actually thinking about renting a tux for this cruise. I have never done it before and since it is our 10th Anniversary it might be nice.

I am getting excited about getting our docs. That is when the real excitement starts.

Have I mentioned how very badly we need this vacation?? We haven't had a vacation in three years-- partly because DS1 is extremely active and made us miserable when his routine was disturbed (and sometimes when it wasn't!) and partly because all of our "extra" (

) funds go towards our adoptions.

We are FRIED!!!

kdicey, is your child adopted?

A 10th anniversary is certainly worthy of a tux, Scott. Congrats!

No our DS 9 wasn't adopted. We were blessed with having him. We have been unsuccessiful having a 2nd child. We have seriously been talking about adoption.

Well since it's been a while and to keep our thread high. What excursions are everyone taking? We are planned to go on: St. Maarten- AM Rhino Riders and car rental for Orient Beach. St. Thomas - St. John Island Tour since we have a DS2 and have heard good things even though we don't get to touch water. Then PM Charlotte Amalie strolling and shopping.

Hi all! We are also on this cruise and starting to have a hard time waiting! My family consists of DH (33), DW (me, 34), DD (8) and DS (5). We have never been on a cruise before but are on small boats at sea almost every other weekend so we LOVE being on the water. We have talked about a cruise for a while but this is the first opportunity we have had to do one. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!

DVCajun is also my sister-in-law so we will be traveling together. I do have to say that her new baby (my nephew) is one of the sweetest and cutest babies I have ever seen. Not that I am biassed or anything .

I hope to meet you all there on the first day!

Hi Everyone,

1 day until the big surprise of the cruise to my DS(9), My dw and I decided to give him his cruise present christmas eve.

We have book our excursions.

St.Marteen - We planning on going to Great Bay Beach to fun on beach. DS will love the tramp.

St.John - We are going on the eco-hike. It will be nice to hime around the island parks along with do a little swimming. I think my DS will do a school report on teh sugar cane plantation. :jumping4:
