2/13/2011 Disney Dream 4 Day Cruise

I just booked the Keys to the Kingdom tour- has anyone been on it before? Are you allowed to bring a camera?

I also booked the pirates and pals fireworks cruise for my December trip with my little guy....

I'm in full blown Mickey mania!!

We received our dining & show time in the mail last week. We have early dining, but then don't go to the show until 9 pm! What do we do with all of that time in between? I'm afraid if we go back to the room, my kids will crash & fall asleep before the show & I really want them to see the show! I know we have the option of the 5:00 show, but that seems so early to head back to the room & get ready every day.

We also received ours for our party of 12. 5:00 show and 6:00 dining. The parents of the kids in our party said it wasn't going to happen so we had ours changed to the 7:00 show and 8:30 dining. I would think that the kids would be dead beat by the time dinner rolls around but that's what the families wanted. My wife and I really didn't care either way.

Cameras are allowed. They will tell you if there is someplace that you can not take any photos.

I think you are right. Just make sure that any plates are moved from in front of the kids. There's nothing worse than a face-plant into the mashed potatoes!

Fish Exchange / Extender List

With only 113 days till sailing, I thought I'd volunteer to start a fish exchange / extender (FE) list for our cruise! (I am new at this, so please accept my apology should I make any mistakes.)

How about if we keep it simple? It'll be up to you to decide if you want to do FE's one per family, one per person, or just kids. Since our cruise is four days, how about if we do not do a schedule of when to deliver. We'll try to get a final list sometime before the cruise (date tbd, ~ 2 or 3 weeks before sail).

Please PM me with you disboard name, members of your party, name and ages, and cabin number. I will add you to this list. Also include if you would like to do one per person, family, or just kids. If the list gets very large, I can divide it into groups. To be discreet and respect everyone's privacy, I will only show your disboard name and cabin number here. I will save the other info and distribute closer to sail date.

I'm really baffled about this board being so untalkative..... Are you out there? It's almost time for our cruise!!! I leave in nine weeks and I know my Hubby and I are super excited.... Is there anyone out there? Or are you all hiding as lurkers only?

I too am baffled! Some of our earlier cruises were several threads long not just pages long.

This cruise should be really exciting because the Dream will only be about three weeks old when we sail her.

Our Facebook page has also been really slow. There I have been posting videos of the progress of the ship and that has been what I have been getting excited over.

Boy am I really slow!

I just realized my countdown for this cruise was off by a week! I was trying to figure out why when I realized that we had intended to go a week later but our schedules couldn't handle it so we picked this one.

It's all fixed now!
