2/13/2011 Disney Dream 4 Day Cruise

Holy Crapoli!! Hadn't seen that picture of the AquaDuck :yay:. That looks awesome. Thanks for posting.

I have no idea why this thread is so quiet...we should be chomping at the bit :woohoo:.

I blame myself :sad2:.

Can't wait!!

This both excites me and terrifies me at the same time!:scared1:

I am afraid of heights but I have to ride this at least once!! :scared:

Any thoughts here on how they're going to manage AquaDuck?? The lines will be heinous.

I think they might give tickets to each room, each day, for a certain time frame (different times each day). Then have some hours where it's "free time" aka "wait in line forever". How will they manage the lines? Will it be open at night? I hope so. I wanna ride this bad boy. I'm thinking, though, that they'll have limited hours to keep the crowds down in the area.

Thoughts??

I have heard nothing! :confused3 I hope that there will be some sort of "ticket" for at least one ride (which may be all I can do!).

I'll be looking closely at the trip report on the maiden voyage. :thumbsup2 :surfweb:

A sneak peek at the Dream ....

Entrance to the Royal Palace restaurant.

The pool area ...

It appears that they have moved the Mickey slide to the middle pool area. Probably in conjunction with the Aqua Duck.

A new kid's play area on the top deck ...

It said that it will have water features. :woohoo:

Finally ..... a stateroom door .... not my door but I can still "Dream". :cloud9:

Hi everyone. I did not have the time to go through your thread, so I will just post the question here. I am looking for a DISer her name is Lori and had a DD who is sailing near this time. She PMed me about doing a Pillowcase for your DD. I deleted the wrong PM with the information. If this is your thread; rePM me. If not, I am sorry. I just know she is cruising sometime during this week and I just do not know what sailing or what ship. Thanks for letting me post on your thread. For those who know me well, hello....

ha! I was part of the DVC member cruise in 2009, and our board is STILL being used to chat!! :rotfl: So 11 pages is just crazy over here!!

I was SOOO excited about those pictures. Has anyone seen the video? It is quite awesome when they do the float out... and all of the goodies in the pictures!! I can't wait!

I finally got it all paid for, and I can book excursions.... I have a brunch at Palo and am trying to decide what to do when in Nassau... I'm thinking of checking out Atlantis, for sure! :dance3: what is the average temp in February? anyone know?

Does anybody have any ideas/recommendations for our day in Nassau? We have a 4 yr old & 8 yr old & had looked into Atlantis, but our youngest isn't tall enough to ride the water slides so that won't work. We were also talking about the Blue Lagoon dolphin encounter? I know a lot of people will tell me to stay on the ship, but my husband & I actually went to Nassau on our honeymoon years ago & are kind of excited to visit again.

We've never been so I can not be of any help. :confused3 My parents went when I was young (without me!) but this is our first trip.

We have a friend who lives there so we are going to hook up with her. She will give us the "non-tourist" tour. :thumbsup2

So we are surprising our girls on Christmas with our cruise & they have no idea!! I even bought a pirate costume last week for 1 of my daughter's at the after Halloween sale & told her it was for next Halloween & she didn't even question it. :)
So I had the idea to design a puzzle that the girls will have to put together on xmas morning that will tell them about the cruise. Does anybody know of a disigner that can help me with this??
