2/13/2011 Disney Dream 4 Day Cruise

My DW and DD (almost 8 at time of cruise) will be on our first cruise (Disney or other) this trip. We are looking forward to this sailing so much that we can hardly wait. We'd love to meet others before hand.

Is anyone organizing a fish extender gift exchange?

DL - 64 - 75, 77, 79, 80, 94 - 98
WDW - 95, 96, 97, 00, 01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10
DCL - our first in 2011!

A few of us said we wanted to do the FE exchange, if nobody else is arranging it I will be glad to do it.

Well, since I am a SAHM my husband accuses me of sitting around eating bon-bons all day (Peggy Bundy). :rotfl2: I guess I can squeeze it into my very 'busy' schedule!

Bon bons?! YUM! :rotfl: I'm also home with my kids most of the time (I work part time) and I know how relaxing and uneventful that is!! :rolleyes1

If you are willing to organize a FE, I'd love to be a part of it!!

Thanks!!

Carrie

We just got a new dog in our house and I have been playing the SAHD for awhile so we could get him trained but it's back to work today. I still am having abandonment issues! :sad1:

Yesterday we received our 2nd seating assignments for the shows and our dining times of 8:30PM.

Anyone else?

Hey Brack. What kind of dog do you have? What's his/her name?

Hello All, I haven't posted here for a while but DW and I are still on this cruise! For those of us who are Platinum (or Concierge), Palo, Remy and other ressies are now available. We made a reservation at Remy for Valentine's day as soon as they opened, at 12:01 AM last night. I am sure that the 14th will be the hardest ressie to get. By the way Brack, your countdown timer is still off by 7 days. It says 127 when we are embarking in 120 days. --Dave and Jackie

:woohoo: I received our seating assignments too!! We have 8:30 dining (whew!) and 7pm shows. I'm happy to have later reservations. when we were on the SSMC09 cruise, we had the early seating for dinner, and while we had our three kids who were hungry at that point- it felt really rushed all of the time. We were just getting into our day and had to rush to get ready for dinner, then we had to eat fast to get our for the next seating!

:love:I'm getting so excited!!

He was listed as a Poodle but we think he has some other type mixed in; although he looks about 95% poodle. He weighs about 13 pounds.

We named him "Fin" when we first saw him because he has a mohawk :rolleyes1 We thought of fin like ... "fins to the left, fins to the right" from Jimmy Buffet. I felt like he needed a "real" name so I said Phineas. Our adopted grandaughter loves Phineas & Ferb on the Disney Channel so that seemed to fit.

btw ... here he is:

Fin is quite cute. I think the P&F kids are my own sometimes- my daughter is always telling me the boys are doing something, and when I look at them, they aren't!!

:dance3:

So... I am in total planning mode for my upcoming disney trips.... and here is a question for those of you that may have been to Nassau before.

What is there to do? What is not to miss? See, do, etc.... I'd like to get some excursion ideas.... :cheer2:

Thanks!!
Carrie

We have not been before but we do have a very good friend who lives there now. She will meet us and show us around the places in town.

We received our dining & show time in the mail last week. We have early dining, but then don't go to the show until 9 pm! What do we do with all of that time in between? I'm afraid if we go back to the room, my kids will crash & fall asleep before the show & I really want them to see the show! I know we have the option of the 5:00 show, but that seems so early to head back to the room & get ready every day.

When I was on my first Disney cruise- the normal routine flew right out the window with my kids eating and sleeping patterns. I'm not sure how old your kids are, but if they need naps still, you could always make them before dinner... then they are rested for dinner service and the show, and still have a full day for activities. I had taken my then 2 1/2 year old to the Toy Story show, and he fell asleep in it! I can't remember what time of day we went- I think it was somewhat early!
