I know it's "Jersey Week" and will be busier than other off season times but is it going to be packed? I haven't been able to get an illumination or wishes cruise, the kids pirate cruise only had 1 opening (I have 2 dds) and only 2 golf courses had open tee times on the day I needed (got Lake buena vista but wanted Eagle Pines). I did call the golf at 8am though instead of 7 -- didn't think they booked up that fast. I was able to get a CRT though -- but I was calling for PSB! Operator got confused and booked wrong one -- happily she was able to switch me to PSB and cxl CRT. Dinner at Chef Mickey's is only ps I was able to get at time I wanted so far. I just thought it would be easier to book things in "off season".

I've never experienced it first hand, but my take from reading a lot of posts is that it's busier than the offseason weeks before and after, but not as busy as summer or other peak seasons. I booked my first PS this morning and waited one-hour on hold at WDW-DINE, which seemed pretty long

Looks like we can compare notes after this year's Jersey Week, however! I just know that I'm planning on enjoying myself no matter what.

I went in 02 duing Jersey Week and it was crowded. We waited 50 minutes or so for Jungle Cruise, and other rides were just as bad, if not worse. Make smart use of fastpass and plan for crowds. We still had fun, we were just really surprised by the amount of people!

We were there in '03 for Jersey Week and did not experience many crowds. I think the longest line we waited in was Space Mountain, maybe 30 minutes.

We've been in WDW during Jersey Week in both 2000 and 2003.

We used FP whenever possible and never waited in a line for more than 20 minutes. I would estimate our average wait time was around five minutes.

Last year we encountered what I considered fairly crowded conditions in Epcot on Saturday, 11/1. But, it was a weekend and the F&W Festival was going on. Even so, we never waited in extermely long lines.

Have fun!

I must admit I'm impressed- I'm from Jersey going to my first "jersey week" in WDW and "jerseyans" have an official week there! Guess it still beats going to WDW duirng the summer! Try not to pick up a Jersey accent while you're down there!!:wave2:

I guess this season is no longer a secret and why Disney next year makes this time regular season and no longer value season. With conventions, groups and activities (super soap weekend; Festival of the Masters weekend; and food and wine beging extended into mid-Nov) it makes for a very busy time of year. Enjoy this last year of value rates for this time of year 'cause next year they change.
